If you sign-up for TextMe while still in the US, get their new phone number, and then leave the US and live full time in Asia (Philippines, Thailand, South Korea) does this app let you BOTH receive and respond to short code messaging (verification codes) sent by banks and brokerages, which typically recognize virtual phone numbers and reject them for the purpose of verifications?
