Hey, totally not a qualified opinion here, but I think what they do is stick some kind of bar or sheet underneath another robot already on the charge station then just, flip up

@@lidkid4973 Maybe they don't use another robot, but instead turn the bars in the direction of the charge station, which moves the robot up as seen in the video. I could be completely wrong though EDIT: Yep, Lid Kid was correct. They stick that pole under another robot and use it to flip up! Super neat concept and I really enjoyed watching them in action!

If I had to guess, swerve, but you can see motors for the "forklift" mechanism because they had cut away the belly pan to fit everything.

They just extended the arm out the front for this video to demonstrate how it works. In competition they don't actually extend out the front, the arm just rotates back.
