My Dad and my Uncle had a reed company after WWII. They used to wait off stage at the Apollo Theater and sell them to the guys in the big bands. I still have all of his tools and gadgets to make them perfect. Selmer used to supply the uncut reeds. I think my Dad told me those stories...ummmmm...more than once! There ya go Leland....a REED STORY! Beautiful venue!!

I feel the same, Mr Lee, when I'm gonna play, as soon as the 1st song begins, I forget all of my problems. Music is healing magic.

The walk through of these magnificent grounds had me remembering the many walks through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco from ’65 to ’78 and before my moving to Oakland.

I feel like I stowed away on the tour bus back in Albuquerque, and I'm still getting away with it.

I hope Brad sees this. What a master musician! Over the years hearing him warm up is just great. He is just so fluid. The loose flowing of his playing is so soothing to my ears. Shows me appreciation of the sax. A student of his is very lucky. Peace Brother Brad!

I'm much like you Mr Sklar ,when you say you love the sound of running water .. especially a small waterfall ! Three things that help to relax me are : 1, the waterfall water , 2 , palm trees swaying in the wind and 3 , watching the smooth sweep of a second hand in an automatic watch ! I know , I know ... I must've fell out of my high chair when I was a toddler back in the day ? Still have the bump on my head ! C yah .

Another great walk on a day l didn’t feel like walking but now I have done my exercise. Looking at the garden makes it feel like we are right there and that is so good. The bonus of Brad being around is just like icing on the cake. Thank you Lee for another chapter in your ‘excellent adventures’. 👍☮️
