I am re-uploading these with improved sound and picture. I collect 16mm theater ads, trailers and intermission ads of all sorts. I have edited these together into a reel to form an intermission reel such as you might see in the theaters of yesteryear, at least the way I remember it. They are splicy and some of the heads and tails have been clipped, sort of the way they appeared in theaters. . These were rescued from existing 35mm copies and made available on 16mm through other collectors. I have several of these reels that I have uploaded to KZbin. Projected on an Elmo 16-CL 5 blade (shutter) projector to minimize flicker.

When I worked for RKO/Stanley Warner, in Trenton NJ, we were mandated to run a 35mm clip showing all of the exits in case of fire.

Do you have the 1960's intermission trailer run in Fox (National General Corporation) theatres...Orange Crush? It began with the jingle, "Presto! Chango! AlaKaZam! Crush makes magic like nothing else can" - I'd like to find it for a video to show to a class reunion.

Barnabas Collins The only Orange Crush ad I have is in Collection 1 of my videos. It's the one with the 'It's Refreshment Time' picture. I haven't run across the one you're describing.

What's the music in the Palace Theater ad?

Sounds like stock intermission music to me. I wouldn't know the name.

Well, I'm sure 'somepony' does! These intermission snippets were most likely produced by the Alexander Film Company back in the 40s, 50s. Do a wiki search on them. They had their own in-house orchestra which composed and performed the music for 1000's of these films. As I said, they're 'stock' intermission music and the compositions were most likely assigned numbers rather than names. Anyway, doubt you'll find any of it on a CD anywhere. Maybe someone who worked there will see this and chime in. But they're probably in their 90's, so don't hold your breath.

Some of these look like they were made by Filmack Studios in Chicago.
