This was randomly recommended to me and after seeing it, The Blue fighter is very skilled and deserves to be champion. This is one of the very few official matches I've ever seen that isn't just chaotic aggression but careful yet calculated precision. More Arnis/Eskrima guys should see this.

this is the bladed weapon sparring format. the goal is to hit first and not get hit. the fight is fought with padded sticks. the toe-to-toe sparring format with live sticks on the other hand looks more chaotic than this. but that is scored under a specific set of rules. cardio, footwork, endurance, and volume striking variation are the basis for its scoring in a 3-round 10-point must system. disarms are also counted as knockdowns.
