I have 2 FD RX-7's that I am building and struggling at life at the moment. I still won't give them up under any circumstance because they are my dreamcars...

I have a miata that I bought when I was 18 right before finishing high school after dreaming of having one since middle school. I saved up my money working 40+ hours during Covid for months and bought it. I’m in college now but to get to this point I’ve had highs and lows and a few times legit less than $50 total to my name. Ive sold clothes, parts, etc. to keep from going into debt. I’ve put enough money into this car to buy a decent Lexus and too many times people told me to sell it, but I can’t let myself do it, I wish people knew how much this car means. It worked and I’m doing much better now still with the same miata. don’t stop, don’t quit

@mazda_miata_ dude its so worth it. i have had so manyvups and downs with fd and nb but atvleast both platforms are a great learning experience and no other car performs the way they do as well as simplicity to fix things yourself. they are the perfect cars to learn how to be independent mechanically and repair wise. all if thevither cars i have drove many civic and nissans are more difficult tobremedy. the only thing thatvi can say is the worse experience is if you have a 2001and up miata ; you HAVE to use the factory Mazda oem alternator. if your alternatir needs replaced do not use one from theboarts store autozone O'Reilly advance auto... none of them have the alternator that will help your ecu regulate the voltage. Mybecu is fried because i forgot thatvsomeone tried to tell me that. other than that . compared to all other cars ... everything is easy to replace. comparing taking out the twin turbo system from my rx7 to removing the radiator out of my automatic trans 2003 civic ex the fd's twin turbos was by far the better experience.

Phenomenal video! Chris is one of the most solid dudes I've met in the car community and so happy to see you guys make such a high quality production with him. This car is even more incredible irl than on camera.

This story is motivational. I'm currently 43 years old, single with 2 kids. Both kids live with their mom. I'm homeless sleeping in my 9th gen civic si coup. I get up every morning to get ready for work while applying for a secondary job so I can save money a little faster. I know this is rock bottom, but I've never felt any better. Because I can feel deep inside something big is about to happen.

It's a great inspiration to hear your story . Many younger generations would fail where you survived . Also, the car is a great build.

Out of all of the RX7’s I have seen over the years, I can say this is one of the best built cars I have ever seen. You can really tell someone put the time and dedication to make each and every detail perfect. Congratulations Chris on completing the build!

Beautiful car mate and well done in getting it to where it is today 😊 It is also really nice to see you tracking it and using it for its intended purpose, congratulations for not building another internet shed car! 😁🎊👏👌 I have not had an RX7, but have always wanted one. I have had an R34GTR circuit/street car and it became one of Australia's fastest GTR's and outright fastest street car in my state of QLD too. I love my Miata MX5's too and I am just about to build a crazy MSM NB with around 400hp and all the handling mods to match too. I still have a very quick LMP3 car that needs a little TLC and track time to be had in between it all too 😉 Thank you for your video and sharing apart of your journey, good inspiration for sure 😊🙏

Amazing video, And props to you for the accomplishment to succeed in that project looks Amazing. but I the same time it turn my stomach to see a beautiful montego blue Original beautiful car be converted to street racing car.I've believe that car could've been still an Amazing car with all the oem parts,I have several from the 70's to mid 80s also collect 2tc toyota from 70's even though I always want to protect the authenticity of the vehicle is to build one just like that but some how I can't. I sold 2 of my 82',83',85' and 1 of them was doing a proyect with it.but had to give up on it to help out fam member in hard time never the less broke my hart and sold it.then the other 2 82' and 85'built them Original left 1 oem stock and the other one 85 was semi build only make the engine upgrade everything interior and vehicle structure would be oem, sold both 1 send to P.R. the other one in FL. I have 1 left 85' oem 64k stock almost ready for fhe Streets but no modifications just redoing paint that's all.the other is 71 Rx2 witch beyond next proyect the first one been working for the past 3 yrs and I don't even know how long for the other is going to be,lol.but I can wait to share this Amazing vehicles for some they are crap and for other worth every we have.amd for the last I have a 73' 2Tc I oem 74k would love to install a 2jz but I think I'll keep that oem as well.but is tempting to do atleast in my view engine upgrades, but some reason can't. Thank you for making Amazing video lot of respect to your accomplishments. 🙌🙏
