We tried really hard to get the EVO 9 wagon onto the dyno this week but due to scheduling issues it didn’t happen so enjoy this video which is one of our favourite builds and we will be back next week with the conclusion of the Evo 9

We appreciate your guys' hard work. I'm sure you all would have release the Evo video if you could have! Thanks for giving the audience something to hold us over until the next update!

FD RX7 and the S2000...... the two most beautiful cars to come out of Japan design studios in the (more or less) modern era. Let's face it, you're never going to outshine the lines of old Datsuns or that 1st gen Celica 😉

That blue color! Models RS 1998-2000 were the best looking FDs and one of the best ever sport car designs. Also, what a good taste in wheel design you have!

@@TML34 he’s a good tuner don’t get me wrong, I just don’t know why he suddenly stopped responding to me. I asked to kindly setup a Dyno day etc and how much his rates were. I wasn’t being pushy, and he was actually being helpful! oh well…

Did you connect the OEM dashboard wire harness to the Haltech ECU? If so, how did you achieve this? Fully custom or using an off the shelf adapter harness?

Definitely one of my favourite builds that you guys have done, shame that you had to let it go, but I know you guys will find another rotary one day!
@bigmanbuilds6 ай бұрын
I've ridden in an fd with similar power and response. It is wild! You really don't need a ton of power in those things to have a blast and stain some shorts 😂😂 awesome build! Sadly with cars, you have to move some on once they've been revived to make room for others
@worldwearyposer6 ай бұрын
so do we hate working on rotaries or not...getting mixed messages lol
@willmauney96096 ай бұрын
Once you're used to it, working on a rotary isn't that bad. There's not a lot to them, and the size allows easy access to accessories etc. On my FC RX7 the bay is arranged so it's very easy to pull/install/service the motor, but the FD may be similar to my friend's RX8 which has the motor so far back and down that it's frustrating to work on.

Righttt, the cars that companies took a risk with turned out to be some of their most iconic. Like the Porsche 928, it was quirky, went off course from their usual design style and who knew it would have such a cult following. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful cars ever in my opinion. It was aggressive but still balanced that aggressiveness with those soft body lines that flowed towards the rear end. Just perfection.

i used to sell cars in the late 90s and early 2000 s and a solder here in tn traded one of these in freshly rebuilt with a twin turbo set up of course i called a friend and we went on a test drive coming around a corner at about 90 degrees boost creep comes in and sling shots us into a sign and a farmers fence and land . luckily a friend with a truck was able to pull us out there was damage to the rear so we went to my friends house and put some work in finally i get it back to the dealer and he asks did you sell it ...i said no and went into my office wondering if the minor damage was going to be noticeable luckily it was not and it sold 5 days later .
