The Sleeping Powder video was made sort of last minute since fans were upset that 2-D hadn't sung as much as they wanted I'm the Humans album. They are saving a lot of the money for the budget too for the tv show though. I beleive it will be 10 episodes but I cant remember for sure.

It's been awhile since I've listened to this recording for the first time and color me insane, but I think there's something a bit off about it. Although I enjoyed listening to this soft and nice Murdoc, I still found myself asking questions like "why is he in such a friendly mood? Come on, it's Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz, it's so unusual!" I've come to the conclusion that maybe he acts like that, because the fans are basically the only people actually supporting him, while he's on a Plastic Beach. His band literally fell apart, he lives on an island in the middle of the ocean that sometimes suffers from pirate attacks. 2D is not much of a supporter, Cyborg is... well, not really human enough, so my theory is that Murdoc basically might act so nicely because he is simply lonely on his melancholy hill. And you can see how desperate he is for bits of attention in his responses to invitations from fans and in the fact that he sorta invites the listeners to the Plastic Beach .I am not implying that I'm 100% right, but I thought it's an interesting point of view

@ɓʀɛɛzy Oh god yes, he's my favorite for a reason. When I tell people that I like murdoc they get so mad at me, and because of them I tried disliking him but.. I just can't. For me, he's a relatable character. And I learned that I should just like whatever I want and not let other people dictate that. Everyone who dislikes him has every right to though.. because his actions definitely can't be excused, but he's still growing as a person (or,, character development) and can change and has changed a bit in phase 4 as told by 2d. Albeit not in the right way because of violence against himself, but there is some form of trying to find a better way to live I suppose, just like a human being. But yeah, I agree. The hate for him has gotten very extreme to the point where it's almost scary.
