17/09/24 - Clear night for most, cloudy in the south-east - Met Office Weather

A dry and clear night across most of the UK with the cloud lifting in northern Scotland, but in the south-east of England it will be cloudy with a breeze. As the night progresses the cloud will spread into central England while patches of mist and fog form in Northern Ireland and Scotland. At the start of the morning it will be sunny and fresh for northern England and Scotland but cloudier in Wales and southern England. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the evening of 17/09/24. This current pattern is very similar to April 2023, where cloud came into eastern England where the rest were sunny and the ‘big area’ of high pressure didn’t last long until very unsettled conditions came for a lot of weeks, especially in NW areas.

I remember April 2023 for about 5 days in NW England where I didn't see a single hour of sunshine, absolutely awful month
