From TR and Alan Moulders mouths (loosely) : we loved it but it broke the flow of the album, and it was already too long
@bl00dy_c4p35 жыл бұрын
Sorry for replying to a 5 month comment but I’ve always thought this really fit, The New Flesh broke flow a bit but I easily think the song could have replaced Complication, and still served as the interlude slot even if it’s so much more than that

He's amazing :) His sound is incredible. At least, I really like it. First time I heard his music in a soundtrack was the movie 300, in the movie theater. I instantly recognized his voice and his style of music, and I told my boyfriend at the time, "That's Nine Inch Nails!" but he didn't believe me. I remember being kinda upset that he didn't believe me. In my head, I was thinking: Dude this has been my favorite band for many years; of course I would recognize NIN when I hear it! 😁

I just read on the nin wiki that everyone tried to convince Trent to keep it there... Lol. His compromise was to leave the little atmosphere bit at the end of the the mark has been made as a reminder it once was there. As a Songwriter and producer of albums (including BIG emphasis on the tracklist sequencing) i can actually relate and understand why one would want to do this. Still a great song though, Loved the remix on things falling apart remix CD back in the day. Thought that and Metal were th best things since sliced bread
