#17. 1978 El Camino SS. New aluminum radiator and electric fans on the 1982 plus billet grill!

In this video I install a new aluminum radiator and dual electric fans I bought from ebay for the 1982 El Camino. I also install an aluminum billet grill, change the differential fluid and replace the chrome on the inner door panels.

I'm joker S10 built and I've been a mechanic for many years from now. 63 when I was younger. There's they sell a tool freeze out tool that has a wabble on the end and a stem sticks out so that you can reach it from strange areas and hammer it on from the bottom of that wobble. Hello Lee. Yeah when I pulled the inline six out of my 75’ nova I installed the v8 coil springs. But the best improvement overall was the heavy duty front sway bar. It was pretty cheap on eBay. It really knocked out the front from floating. Thanks for the video.

David, I did the same on my 1964 C10 Chevrolet pick-up. No more body roll of floating, matter the fact I changed the whole front roller section from a 1972 C10 Cheyeanne with disc brakes & five lug. It makes the ride so much better...and also changed the rear end to make it five lug & a rear sway bar too! Man what a difference it makes driving it. Much better than factory 1964 C10 was back in the day......Lee doing a good job on the El Camino's turning out pretty huh......

That flexseal will work for a short while,maybe I'm doing something wrong,but I've cleaned the areas I've used it and still lasts a short while

Your wiper problem is most likely the cover on the wiper motor there is a pc board that goes bad.

Those quadrajet carburetors are notorious for the throttle shafts leaking vacuum. Might be what’s wrong with yours

Vacuum secondary's put a gauge on it see what kind of vacuum your pulling hard to pull enough vacuum sitting there need to really stand on it Lee just my 2 cents hope that helps cant wait to you roast some tires.

Yes I will everything up to 454 is the same friend's mission it's a 43 and a 38 are the same motor just different head configurations yeah you've got a 3 fish Turbo out of the other El Camino that apparently is good so even if it is possible a 250 TB which they made which I don't think it is because it's a 250 does not have a kickdown cable for the transmission for the passenger But you do have a good 350 I saw you pull out of the white 78 El Camino that will go right in that thing if you have to so i wouldn't worry about that I just fixed the leak change of fluid and roll with it and put that good transmission off out of the motor up somewhere so you have it in case it goes out cause you can use those in any of your other cars including your chevelles or like that

Hey Lee great video..however if that black car came with a V6..good possibility it may have came with a transmission 200 4r..same bolt pattern as a turbo 350..even the drive shaft will fit as it is the same in lenght..still good video.

@@clunkersandclassicsWhat is commonly called a "posi" rearend is technically a limited slip rearend. They have a tag on one of the cover bolts that says use limited slip differential oil only. A non posi rearend can be called an open differential. When you spin one wheel the other is probably turning the opposite direction.

Holly fixes all carburetors issues that's probably got the factory car breaker on it from whatever mind it isn't it and it's probably the that's got electronic idol thing on it and if a boxing and if that doesn't see this didn't know from the distributor it doesn't work right so do you throw a carburetor in garbage I'll get an air block or a holiday in my case maybe even a demon depending on what you can find Problems For You Don't Freedom price until some of my car ritters aren't Bad they're just a rebranded Holly Actually
