Hey Sam and Maria... thanks for taking a look at 17 Again. Glad you liked it. It was a lot of fun to make. As for Zac and the basketball, we used a smaller ball so he could palm it. But all those tricks, including spinning the ball on this fingers, that was all him. Take care... and keep up the reviews!

So sorry you guys are having such trouble with copyright. I know very little about copyright/fair use laws but I've heard lots of creators complain about copyright strikes around music so I was wondering if perhaps that may be some of what's going on cause I noticed there's quite the soundtrack on the movie? Not that that should matter but if all else fails and they call for cuts perhaps trying to make cuts around music ques? Hopefully you'll be able to beat them at their game. Still enjoyable content - Sam, your face at points in this is absolute gold!

I played basketball for 10 years. At first glance I thought the ball in the cafeteria was a women’s basketball. I’m not sure how it is in other countries but in America we use a smaller ball that will have 28.5 printed on it. We used that exact ball actually just smaller. I rewatched the scene several times and didn’t see it printed on there so my first impression was wrong. Also checked he is 5’8” so him being able to palm a standard size ball is impressive, to me anyway.

Zac Efron is 5 feet 8 inches in height. About catching the basketball like that, it is perfectly possible that slightly smaller basketballs were made for use in the movie. To correct my previous comment, Sam may not have played basketball in high school, but anyone who has ever faced him on a ping pong table, they know who Sam The Slam is.

I think the whole scene about abstinence is interesting. From my own personal experience can work depending on the person. I was homeschooled in high school. My family was and is still religious. So that played a part in staying abstinent. But I had I remained in public school. I would have made the same decision. I wasn't getting asked out anyway. I never got asked out in high school. Besides being asked out a month after I turned 12. Guys avoided me. I was 21 the next time I got asked out. That was in 2015. Being on autism spectrum seem have its advantages and disadvantages.

@samandmariachannel The endorphins are definitely beneficial. But my college psychology professor did her dissertation on this. I admit it's at least 15 years old. But basically, the drawn conclusions were when done on your own. It's very beneficial. But when done needlessly outside of some form of commitment, it can dull the or highten the need for companionship. So make the need for someone the top of mind or almost impossible to commit. It makes sense to me. My opinion is formed off that. But I respect you. I love your channel. Please don't be upset.

However, from what you've told me, it looks like a specific area or aspect was studied and the conclusions were drawn based on that. If a person has certain preexisting issues, casual relationships might not be a good idea and might have those consequences. I respect your opinion and what it's based on.
