Y A° has more single bond character than z A° . Y already has one permanent single bond. It also has another partial bond so roughly, it has more bond order than single bond.. So as bond order will increase, bond length will decrease. That's why it has less bond length than single bond as it has more no. of bonds than single bond. While y A° has more single bond character than z A°, it's bond length is greater than z. Hope it helps
