I think it's pretty interesting how this soundtrack shows different kind of music mixed together with nationalities. For example, there are some songs with german titles. Which are very much suited for battles in the anime. Like Kampf, Konfrontation or Schlachtschiff Then there are songs that are clearly japanese themed. Like Mifune or Masamune And then we have this little beauty which is obviously french themed.

Grace Jones. This is her voice. Few of her songs are like this one - argentinian tango music mixed with pop and tribal. Please listen to her albums ! She was the female icon of the 80's. Tall, pretty and fit, as in muscular. She did music, modeling and art on a high level and can speak in 6 languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese besides English) On top of that she also flashed her breasts at a disney show in the 90's. Great woman. Go listen to her music.

Im french and I had never noticed the french words in this melody, however they saying random shit like , your Smell, the hot earth, the planet is full of danger, love without bottom, poor vagabond in time, treason, knife, They arent really any real full sentences and its hard to hear it all .

There's so many things the soul eater just didn't explain. So many characters that are never explained. The only characters that are kind of made sense of is black star, and suibaki. Characters dying abruptly that could have gotten much more screen time like Arachne and Medusa. And the un explained things. First of all. Kids last move he does ever in the anime before passing out. Those lines were never talked about for episode s until now??? The demon in souls mind called him by a different name and all he says is don't call me by that name or something along those lines. Also Maka being able to use sythes as if she was a weapon. Kishen Ashura points out that she does have weapon blood though but she did that all while she was unconscious. It doesn't make sense. I feel like Corona was suppose to be dead.

Also I know that Maka probably got the weapon blood from her father. But she never used it until now. And again she used it while unconscious. When she regained her consciousness again she never used it. In the epilog outro it seems the Medusa is still alive but they never made a sequel as a continuization so what do I know.

Coup de Grace ("Golpe de gracia" in spanish) it's the last strike wich finishes the enemy. Like a stabing to the heart or a shot to the head... That's why you should take Google translator as rule

@@glasius22 I can retrospectively see now that my 2 year comment wasn't that much pertinent but, if you want the litteral translation of "coup de grâce" it would be "grace hit", what it means however could be as much as "last strike" as "final blow" , the literal translation of "final blow" is "coup final" and "last strike" is "dernier coup" and I don't need a translator to know the litteral translation as french and english are so close to each other but for the meaning I had to learn so im pretty confident about this as im pretty much bilingual, out of context but there is a saying similar to "like a stabing to the heart" in french being "donner un coup de poignard dans le dos" literally "to give a knife blow in the back" meaning betraying someone or with "to get" instead of "to give" and "recevoir" instead of "donner" it means being betrayed, anyway good day/evening.

Honestly, after seeing what the lyrics translate to it's probably almost certainly a song made for either Arachne, the Witches in general, or the black blood demon that preys on the wrong and mad emotions of a person afflicted. . Though honestly, it's almost certainly for Arachne, as it seems to fit her the most. Since it's equal parts talking about the horrible traits of humans and the pain involved in existence, but also decadence and sensuousness and control.

This is actually Arachne's theme song. It plays almost exclusively when she's on screen. While that should be enough of a give-away, Arachne's affinity for red wine is also a subtle nod.
