I truly appreciate your "trip + narration" videos. They are not only useful for learning vocabulary but also make you feel like you are experiencing the places shown in the footage. This way, I feel like my brain naturally associates what is going on in the video with the words and concepts introduced therein. I have rewatched several of the videos in this series multiple times to read the text more carefully and notice more details. Thank you for your hard work!

Wonderful narration and video. I’m an absolute beginner Japanese language student so I turn on the closed captions to follow the story so that my ears and brain learn the sound of words, sentences and intonation.Thank you, your voice is beautiful.

It may be a little late but you need to know. Research shows that watching with subtitles in a language that you already know gives you ~ 0% improvement in the language you want to learn.

저는 일본어를 배운지 두달정도 되고있습니다. 우연히 알게된 후미씨의 영상은 매우 도움이 됩니다. 문장을 따라읽고 한글자막과 비교하며 공부하고있습니다. 항상 감사드립니다.

ふみ先生、こんにちは! リスニングの練習ようにまた素晴らしい動画をアップロードしてくれてありがとうございました。 I know this type of video is a lot of work to shoot, edit, and produce so I really appreciate your efforts! I still struggle with listening comprehension, so watching these vlog-style videos several times with and without the subtitles on is extremely helpful to me. Each time I watch, I pick up more and more nuance in the language and that, along with looking forward to your next video, keeps me motivated to keep studying Japanese. 😄 感謝してもしきれません!
