Taylors records are there to stay forever i think! Michael's throwing style will prevent breaking them and also the competition is so much better these days. Michael is the real deal but wouldnt be surprised if he stops at 35 and change careers or business. Changing times!

When Taylor won most of his titles there where still a lot of good players in the BDO. I'd even say the BDO was stronger in the late 90s and early 00, the PDC only started becoming the strongest when the likes of Barney came over, so Taylor wasn't beating all the best players in the world every year. I'm not doubting that Taylor would have won a lot regardless, but I have my doubts wetter he'd of got 16 had he been facing all the best players every year, rather than just half of them. The PDC nowadays though is miles ahead of the BDO, and all the best players play in the PDC, so I think anyone trying to break Phils records now has a an even tougher task than he did to set the records so I don't think they'll ever be broken

Yep you still need to count those as it's a series of perfect darts behind each other so it's 19 not 17...mistake most make is that they start counting from the beginning of a leg

Nobody is going to really remember the 2 trebles he hit in the leg before the 9 darter, but people will remember that it started with a 9 darter followed with almost another.
