Imo they 17 darts were up there with Usain bolt and what he done on track. Seriously think it was that good. When u think of the players in the past that haven't even came close to 2 9 darters,Taylor with 2 in 1 tournament but mvg was a whisker outside that double 12 for back to back 9 darters 🙈. Everytime I watch it I get goosebumps and hope it goes in 😂

@@Grantster6969 the things taylor and mvg have done on the pdc tour really is crazy. Think it's a lot harder to win tournaments now though coz the talent pool is so much deeper. U have guys like borland who can hit a 9 darter in the first round so u have no easy givens anymore. I actually just watched a match with mvg hitting 2 9 darters in one match it just wasn't on live TV, he done it on the floor tourneys but I think back to back 9 darters will will be done its just a matter of when.

Now I'm not some huge Darts fan so I can't tell you if Phil Taylor ever had some bad seasons but Phil Taylor did play for a really long time and consistently won for many years. Will MVG go back to that or is he just never gonna be as good anymore?

@@MalphasMikaelson Yeah i agree with you he is not the same player but we need time to see if he is playing like this in 2021.I think Phil and MVG are the 2 best players of all time but now the competitions are harder because the players are many.MVG was so so so good and now he barely qualify to Q/F, that's really a big problem.

The amazing thing is he puts in these performances in the biggest matches. Against Barney Worlds Semi, Taylor in Premier league final, Cross at UK open (I know Cross wasn't was he is now), Wade at Worlds Semi and Smith in Premier League. Just incredible!
