The Toyota RAV4 does NOT have CVT transmission. It has an eCVT transmission which differs substantially from a CVT. I suggest you research that more for yourself.

FYI I am 76 5'7" and cannot see over most of these vehicles hoods, which creates a HUGE blind spot. As to one of many EV downfalls- you can buy a lot of gasoline for the frequent cost of tire replacement

Please address one big question - how many of these SUV’s are comfortable for a 6’ 3” or taller senior. Ive yet to find one. I want something efficient and comfortable but not a 7 or 9 passenger boat i dont need. Please point one out thats not made for anyone but shorter folks! 75” is not a giant. It’s only a few inches taller than an average American male.

You pay more for a hybrid vehicle and pay more in higher insurance costs and the savings in fuel doesn’t offset the higher costs. Any turbo 4 bangers are a joke The best suv for any aging person is a 2022 or earlier Lexus RX 350 with the 3.5 liter V6
