Sounded like she was just trying to justify charging people $750 for a facial.. sorry but gold is just an antioxidant and theres no scientific proof that it's better than any other antioxidant at reducing redness, soothing inflammation, or protecting from free radicals which is what and antioxidants do whether ingested or put on the skin.

@mariami.shangua
@mariami.shangua 7 жыл бұрын
Drunkern Neko Your pores are not designed to withstand extreme temperatures. So when you use very hot water to wash your face, you might scald your skin. Also, you have a lot of fine capillaries under the skin on your face, so it's not designed to endure hot water because it causes your skin to get irritated. You might even get rosacea from washing your face with hot water. Hot or warm water also strips your skin from natural oils and makes it dry

The second facial was a place I would go to. Those ladies were nice and their pricing was was just right. Especially because of the difference, they had glowing skin after. It seemed like a great place! But the third.. it was just soooooooo price-y. No one would pay $750 to put gold on your face and get nothing out of it. A limo, sushi and champagne is way to extra for just a facial place.They are just hungry for money

chloe, nowhere especially after that last one😬 the legit looked almost the exact same. Gold and truffles aren’t anything special or unique to the skin they’re just expensive and rare as fuuuuuuccccc. Like I said in the other comment it’s like grinding up some diamonds into as fine a powder as possible and saying it’s the best physical exfoliator ever. It’s not. You’d get the exact same effect with any physical scrub of the same size. After googling through all the fluff (and there’s a lot of it. Fluff is the first thing that pops up) gold is at best anti inflammatory. And it’s “brightening and lightening” effects are temporary and cosmetic because of gold’s reflective nature. People just wanna feel expensive maybe?

I think it is just mainly for people who have to go out and do things after, and your face is sometimes kind of irritated/red from the facial but you also don't necessarily want to go put a full face of makeup on right after so its a nce light coverage so you dont walk out feeling self conscious going places

i feel like the last one was so tacky, like it was expensive for the sake of being expensive instead of being expensive because it's good. i'd prefer to go to the mid-priced place where they actually asked what their skin was like and tailored the facial to that rather than slapping on a bunch of "luxury" ingredients and claiming they would work miracles.

Mallory C actually its more accurate to say that none of the products that contain collagen do anything because collagen is to large a molecule to absorb through the skin. There are however external and internal things you can do to produce your own collagen. There is some evidence that vitamin C applied externally and taken internally can boostyour collagen especially as the lecels on the body will decline with age. Derma needling has been studied and at 0.5mm it has been found to stimulate formation of collagen under the skin, it doesnt even hurt. Retin A from the doctor also boost skins production of collagen, of course it does remove the outer layer of dead skin that protects you from the sun. You can consume gelatin and collagen, as well as other supplements that have been proven affective. In the end you would have to do these things with at least some amount of consistency.

Better to see a doctor (dermatologist) than to go to a salon. Acne is actually an infection and needs to be at least seen by a medical professional. There are many ways to deal with acne, including medication oral and topical and certain hygiene practices can help. Most people will get some pimples, white heads, blackheads. But all over acne needs medical attention.I hope this helps. :)

BOught $3 chinese peeling mask ... does not worth. It is really sticky and 'cleaning', but my every morning cold water shower and every evening normal shower seemingly are leaving nothing to be removed. But we slavic people have extremely rare any face defects ... so it depends.

Really? I feel like the middle one wasn't that expensive. What do facials normally cost? I have it in my mind for some reason that they're around 100 dollars
@ALINA-is7so
@ALINA-is7so 7 жыл бұрын
Well, in my opinion it's a bit expensive for once a month. Where I live you get a decent facial for 20€ (~22$). For the Face Haus facial I'd probably pay 30-35€.

Hannah Clapcott The last one feels luxurious only because its tripled in price of what it is actually worth to make a profit. The second one is the best if you want to see results. They are estheticians working with ingredients in their purest form, and thats why your skin has the best results.

SeattleBeauty Gold products seemed like they replace that deadsea stuff they use to aggressively sell in the mall. It doesn't work any better than the at home stuff/55 dollar facial. Thanks for the tip 👊🏾 drinking more water did more for my skin than any product I've ever tried lol

I totally agree it was a scam, but I've seen youtubers buy gold leaf and put it on their faces themselves. whether it does anything or not is another story, but I'm sure it was a tiny little fraction of the cost! if someone really wanted to try it, it's not an unattainable dream! haha
