chloe, nowhere especially after that last one😬 the legit looked almost the exact same. Gold and truffles aren’t anything special or unique to the skin they’re just expensive and rare as fuuuuuuccccc. Like I said in the other comment it’s like grinding up some diamonds into as fine a powder as possible and saying it’s the best physical exfoliator ever. It’s not. You’d get the exact same effect with any physical scrub of the same size. After googling through all the fluff (and there’s a lot of it. Fluff is the first thing that pops up) gold is at best anti inflammatory. And it’s “brightening and lightening” effects are temporary and cosmetic because of gold’s reflective nature. People just wanna feel expensive maybe?

Drunkern Neko Your pores are not designed to withstand extreme temperatures. So when you use very hot water to wash your face, you might scald your skin. Also, you have a lot of fine capillaries under the skin on your face, so it's not designed to endure hot water because it causes your skin to get irritated. You might even get rosacea from washing your face with hot water. Hot or warm water also strips your skin from natural oils and makes it dry

you'd rather clog your skin with something good than leave it open. If you just unclog the skin without a moisturizer or something then all that work you did will be for nothing it's going to dry the crap out of your skin if you don't. Plus unclogging your pores HURTS, the bb cream and final touches help soothe your skin so your're not walking out feeling like you just got the life drained out of you and having more inflammation than you need. Mallory C actually its more accurate to say that none of the products that contain collagen do anything because collagen is to large a molecule to absorb through the skin. There are however external and internal things you can do to produce your own collagen. There is some evidence that vitamin C applied externally and taken internally can boostyour collagen especially as the lecels on the body will decline with age. Derma needling has been studied and at 0.5mm it has been found to stimulate formation of collagen under the skin, it doesnt even hurt. Retin A from the doctor also boost skins production of collagen, of course it does remove the outer layer of dead skin that protects you from the sun. You can consume gelatin and collagen, as well as other supplements that have been proven affective. In the end you would have to do these things with at least some amount of consistency.

As a chemist, this bothered me. "Fluff" is right.... A lot of buzzwords, and people who don't understand science. If you want to have a fun time with friends, then spa is nice, but if you want treatments that work better, and are performed by people with more knowledge (usually, but not always), go to a clinic. I had facials at spas twice. And four times at actual clinics. Spas make your skin nice briefly because you are being slightly exfoliated, and moisturized. The ladies should go to actual clinics (plastic surgery clinics are usually the best) and have microdermabrasian (if it is right for their skin), and facials. Microderm made my skin sooo nice, and smooth, and lasted for over a month.
@tinyfroghag7 жыл бұрын
Chem Is Cry It sounds to me like you were going to spas more targeted for the "fluff" facials. As an esthetician I can assure you that many spas that offer the feel good, pampering facials also offer the more aggressive treatments like microderms and acid/chem peels. It's not just medi spas or clinics.
@AngelaEAwesome7 жыл бұрын

stephanie hello!!! I’m an esti so maybe I’ll help provide some clarity. In most states the law says you have to put sunscreen on after any and every kind of facial however because the Zinc Oxide in sunscreens is so white and pigmented it usually leaves the person looking ashy and not as great. A tinted sunscreen is a great option to use to combat that if you’re someone with a little bit of tint in your face! The one she used is also not a bb cream it’s ~like~ one just because it’s tinted but it’s mainly to protect the face from the sun
