Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. The guy is amazing physically but his technicals and mentality are lacking. He almost bottled the goal he scored in this match too if you watch closely.

With all due respect, Osude is not talented enough to make the field for this Hashtag squad. He’s definitely the fastest man on the pitch, but speed only gets you so far. He almost missed the easiest chance anyone can get as well.

Osude’s performance in this game sums him up perfectly… most exciting player to watch, super fast, but lacks end product and his decision making is poor. Couple of times he could have slipped team-mates in and chose to shoot, couple of times he got in and couldn’t finish. If I was him I’d just work on passing it and my decision making, he’s so fast he gets into unbelievable positions to set up team-mates and he could get 3 assists every game!

This! I'm a Brighton fan, and Osude very much reminds me of one of our old players Kazenga LuaLua. He was a really good player who had bags of pace, could take it past people and always got himself into great positions....but 9 times out of 10 there was just no end product! He'd sky his shots and his crosses were always wayward. It was so frustrating. He'd score the occasional goal, but more often than not he'd fluff it, or his crosses would just sail out for a goal kick. I see a lot of that in Josh, unfortunately.

I have to say, the foul at about 23:30 in the match (about 7:13 in the video) looks a lot like the Coggeshall player dived, but it could be the angle. It's hard to see if there's any contact, but it doesn't look like there was.

So many players on fire this season, but I’d argue that Max Cornhill is going under the radar as the tags best player. Never stops running, undeniable quality and passing range, goals, assists, aerial presence, good ball winner and solid as a rock. Plays pretty much every game. Not as flashy as the rest of the team, but a true box to box, and probably the most important cog in the entire squad. Invaluable player.

Jeeeez, Osude had himself a game. Looked really dangerous. I think he's suited to a team like Coggeshall though. A team that will look to sit deep, and counter. I don't think he'd fit our game plan where we have a lot of the ball and really need to have solid build-up play. That's no slight on him though. Everyone's has different strengths. He's in a great environment now to show off his strengths.

Being that there was a behind the goal camera for Osude's goal, I'm really surprised that they didn't use that camera to replay the Coggeshall attempt that was cleared off the line. Almost makes me think that it was over the line but they didn't want to show it. Either way, really exciting game to watch and I could only imagine the jitters every time a long ball was sent Osude's way. The AFC Sudbury game is going to be a cracker.
