By 16 or 17, a person is, of course not physically or mentally fully mature, but not in a sense that they are handicapped or vulnerable like a child but simply not at the peak of their capability. We've normalised a culture of arrested development.

You can have the above 2 skills but it's not much use if 1 good strike KO you

Her jab is fantastic. Her kicks are fantastic - that push kick especially. Her knees in the clinch are fantastic. Her pressure is fantastic. And at 17?! Imagine her abilities 10 years from now. The one thing I'd say she really needs to work on is her defense after she throws the right hand. That's when she seemed to be getting herself clipped. Her boxing overall needs a little work but she is only 17 afterall... but with a jab like that too anyway she clearly won't take long! God dang girl! A jab alone can carry you so, so, so far in so many combat sports. This girl could very well be the next BIG thing.
