Amazing. I'm currently following another martial art, but your style is still the most impressive and structured I've never seen and occasionally tried. Thank You for sharing your knowledge also by video. regards from Italy

Tai Chi in the Wing Chun Shadow. This is how Wing Chun should be. It is nice to see so many westerners appreciating Chinese Wisdom.

The warmup, moves, motions, and even the way of demonstration are very similar to Russian Martial Art (Systema)? Is there any connections?

David Cheung Wing Chun Original 1700's internal Wing Chun style, every wing chun style after that is infact modified form of wing chun even if you call it traditional wing chun.

Does Sergio ever do any actual sparring
@AshtonSmart9 жыл бұрын
bobby ewing Wish to see that too. Whether full or light sparring, the validity of a martial art is only shown during real pressure with people who may not be doing the same art.
@11Kralle8 жыл бұрын
+bobby ewing What do You mean by sparring? A regulated simulation of a fight for a certain amount of time? A free fight with no intent to actually win by knock-out/immobilisation/physical exhaustion? A bout with protective gear? I think you won't see any wing chun sparring at all. It's not supposed to be a base for sportive competition or a method for a duel-like situation of a pre-arranged single combat a.f.a.I.k. If one could force him to fight against a dangerous opponent in all seriousness (without room to evade all the time a.s.o.) he might need only some seconds to nullify or demobilize (even hurt or kill) his antagonist. If the latter would be better, stronger, faster, more cold-blooded (and such) the fight would take also these few moments afore mentioned. A common sparring with maybe a boxer or a wrestler might be interesting, but most wing chun techniques are to be restricted, hence Sifu Sergio would have to stick to use only controlling skills - which would be somewhat boring to see and not considered to be a sparring at all. So, would he agree (for a certain amount of time) to kick and punch an opponent who only kicks and punches him wildly? No, why should he do that? Would a wrestler do any actual sparring?

Austin Goh Martial Arts Training & Philosophy Actually many Chinese do know that, Sifu Robert Chu for example author of the book Complete Wing Chun, maybe you should take the time to read my book on Wing Chun's history "The Six Core Elements the SLT and History of Wing Chun" will make things very clear for you. wishing you a nice day

+Austin Goh Wing Chun - Philosophy & Training you should review your own Wing chun seen a lot of your stuff you claim to be the hardest striker in Wing chun how is this been proved ? it's impossible it's a self proclaimed comment to attract students to line your pocket 99% of your technique is terrible like the video you made trying to imitate Floyd mayweather and many pacquiao lol lol lol JOKE
