I am looking to upgrade from my Polo 1.2mpi. My considerations are Virtus GT DSG, Seltos GT line DCT and XUV 700 AX5 diesel AT. What's your advice and what's the most VFM option among them ?

The three cars belong to distinct segments and feature diverse fuel types. If you're in need of a spacious SUV, the XUV700 fits the bill, although I've personally noticed fit and finish issues along with some quality control concerns with Mahindra. The Seltos, on the other hand, is an undeniable value-for-money choice. It's practical, loaded with features that exude a premium feel, yet its driving and handling fall short when compared to the Virtus. Surprisingly, the Creta seems to outshine the Seltos in driving dynamics, and safety ratings pose a significant concern. Contrastingly, the Virtus stands out as a genuine sedan with impeccable driving dynamics and safety features. Its only drawback lies in a somewhat limited set of features. While some find satisfaction in what it offers, there's a notable absence of certain features. Considering your upgrade from the Polo, my only concern is that you might find any other car less exciting than the Virtus after driving it for some days.

No Problem with TPMS. 1. If air falls below set pressure. TPMS will trigger the warning. It will keep showing the warning until you reset again. That means even after you refill the air, TPMS will keep showing warning till you reset it. 2. Once you reset the TPMS it will store that particular pressure reading. For example if you set TMPS at 20 PSI, TPMS will only trigger if pressure goes below 20 PSI 3. Do not reset the TPMS until you are sure that all the tyres are at correct tyre pressure.

Hi sir, I've recently purchased taigun 1L turbo highline variant... I've given it for servicing and as part of there swagat service they did inspection and did address few of my issues.. I've come across gearbox issue wherein the shifts aren't smooth from in 2,3,4th gears.. They have added lubricant after taking it to service center next day again since it wasn't checked earlier.. My major concern is I see the clutch has become lighter.. Have you seen that change after 1month service. Please let me know brother as this's my very first vehicle and has no much knowledge on these services and changes it makes. Thanks And as per service center guys recommendatiin, they said to get anti rust coating for underbody which i did which costed around 4K.. Is that really worth or was that a scam as the person from showroom said it's not needed since company itself provides us that by default

The maintenance cost has become very low now as compared to earlier generations vw Škoda cars. For first 4 - 5 years, you can opt for service value packages which will make an average of 6-7k per service

Yes. There’s a speed limit on engine for first 1000-1500km. You can safely drive upto 100kmph, but not in lower gear. It means avoid keeping engine rpm above 4000. Always try to keep engine speed variable not like just driving on a same speed.

No. There’s no difference in quality. Only difference is those additional features like subwoofers etc

If you love driving then Taigun, if you love features with 360 degree cam and all with no safety, then Creta. If Taigun, then I will suggest 1.0 Highline or Topline AT as per your choice. No doubt this variant even can give 16kmpl in city in low traffic

No. I haven’t heard about this issue. All doors should be closed with same impact. You can get it checked at service center. May be some greasing or something can fix it.

Both have different plus points. If you like a car with all modern features and a premium feel interior, then Creta is one to go. Even I personally find the driving dynamics of Creta is not bad. And it will have good resale value. But when it comes to safety, build quality and live driving, then Taigun is the one to go for. Suggest you test drive both cars, if you love driving and decide. Else apart from safety, Creta is a best buy.

I having Taigun 1.0 topline from last two years, Now there is a engine noise from last five to six months, when I ask it to service centre, they said that the fuel pressure pump is failed .. If you are more inclined to driving pleasure then Taigun. If you need a car with features and bigger in looks, then Seltos. Safety is another major concern in Seltos.
