This is a great series - for 3 reasons: 1. There is an element of risk. At some point it's going to go pear shaped. 2. The characters he picks up along the way are interesting. 3. Learning and about the coastal history of the Uk is great.

This series is a lovely antidote to the self flagellation the people of the UK are being subjected to currently by sections of society determined to divide us. Just goes to show that Britain is still as bloody brilliant as ever. Fabulous coastline populated by friendly people and of course, the most British thing of all, one man taking on a crazy adventure in an unsuitable machine and doing it all with a smile on their face.

I’ve never commented on a KZbin video before, but I feel compelled to. Harry, your films are so heartwarming, so delightfully bonkers, and the perfect form of escapism, particularly during these crazy and horrible times. You’re doing more to improve thousands of people’s mental health than you probably realise. Keep up the good work!

Approachable and hugely addictive. Curiously more interesting than large scale expedition sagas and the multitude of fake survival dramas. These are real people (i assume!) who not only enjoy themselves but make mistakes and admit their feelings. For me this is by far the best use of the utube format, quite wonderfully done. Some sort of award would be well deserved for the whole production crew. Superb ...!

I enjoyed this so much! My friend and I (we are Norwegians) have so far walked all the coastline from Westward Ho! to Penzance along the South West Coast Path. In 2019 we walked from St. Ives to Penzance, and after that we spent a week on the Isles Of Scilly. We are totally in love with these areas. It is amazing to get a sea view of the areas we have walked. And you two present your voyage and the experiences in a fantastic way :-) And you should really watch the Poldark series ;-)

I truly love this series. Many years ago me and a friend shared a 14 foot Fletcher and although we didn't go around the coast, we hauled it to places such as Lee on Solent (often for water skiing), Fowey, Newquay and the Isle of Bute. Wonderful to watch, thanks for bringing some nostalgic tears to my eyes.

Seeing longships lighthouse was amazing, my grandfather was a lighthouse keeper on longships lighthouse in 1957 with the family living in the cottages on the cliffs, my Nan used to stand against the white wall of the cottages and do semaphore to my grandfather on the lighthouse whilst he would watch with his binoculars, the equivalent of today’s texting I guess. Then you end up in St ives where my aunty lived for may years right on the seafront before it became a tourist attraction. So many memories. Cracking show, been following all along, stay safe.

These are some of if the not the top best series of videos I have ever watched on YT ! The semi-haphazard adventure, the banter between the sailing partners you have on board and the strangers you meet along the way, the interesting facts about the british coast. Not to mention the professional videography by means of GoPros, main camera, drone footage, stop motion map visuals. All absolutely brilliant !

I grew up on a small lake in Virginia, USA- constantly boating as a teenager. Not until I was in graduate school did I decide to "circumnavigate" the lake as an adventure- thick cypress trees made some parts very difficult to get around. This vlog reminds me of that exact spirit. For boaters this spirit is quite universal. Thanks for the refreshing take on your channel.

There are some excellent travel/comedy/history/documentary type channels and shows out there, but honestly I think I'm most interested in this series. Wonderful blend of personalities, history, travel, adventure, snacks, and a grand mission of circumnavigation. Hard balance to strike, but you've certainly done it. It may take a long while to finish, and I'm fine with that, I don't want it to end. Also excellent stop motion and music...and really great travel companions... hard to name all the positives!

Beautiful filming of the Scilly isles. Keep your wonderful journey safe and complete your expedition. I can't wait to hear how you describe the coastline north of Ullapool on the northwest coast of Scotland - especially in the Achmelvich area. It's more Caribbean than the Caribbean itself!
