Deed me denken aan die mondharmonica in Once Upon The West.

The most impressive part of this video are the pictures of Rotterdam which begin at 22m 13s. I knew that the city had been badly damaged in the second world war - but I did not realize the extent of the destruction.

It was once one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands. It is very sad that the bombardment happened. It was completely unnecessary it caused the destruction of so many beautiful buildings and city blocks. After that the city council cleared the rubble, changed street plans and even tore down historic buildings that were undamaged. I have some websites with a lot of pictures of the old Rotterdam if you are interested.
