I definitely could see how a small freezer could change one's life for the better, i.e. ice cream, ice and frozen food. Since I've never lit an oven with a match, every time David lights the oven I get nervous. Maybe next time an oven that you turn the knob and it lights itself would be another good purchase. Albeit not as glorious as a freezer.

"I don't like these, but I'm generally wrong about most things." Perhaps the most relatable quote I've encountered in years. Also, very enjoyable and well put together video, as usual. The wide beams seem to be designed for the "I'm SO rich..." crowd, although the ability to invite a small village on board might be nice. The batteries are something I'll be looking forward to hearing more about. Thanks again.

Interesting as usual - isn't it fun looking around other peoples boats and stealing their best ideas!! I can thoroughly recommend pretendy grass on the foredeck. Picked up an 'end of roll' cheapy last season (fair weather boater!!) and fitted PDQ. You really need to be confident in the standard of the deck paintwork underneath it (cos it's probably going to be a bit wet a lot of the time) but it looks so much nicer than boring paint, it saves having to brush the deck every couple of days with the added bonus that it acts like a large scale door mat at the pointy end - the crew say it adds confidence getting on - no slippy deck with wet/muddy feet. Just do it!

As a regular viewer from the New World, I thought I'd mention a language oddity for your amusement. Here, we have both HOMEY and HOMELY. The first is a compliment, implying you'd like to live in such an inviting place; the second has diverged into meaning "just short of plain ugly!" There's often a suggestion of something home-built, such as "here's a homely little boat coming our way." Really enjoyed your show coverage and am intrigued by the idea of a silent electric boat. What a great vlog, with a variety of modern boats, eco filters, new experimental batteries and even a wedding announcement that’s going to keep you saying “not actually my wife” in the comments for the next few weeks til you give up and pin the clarification. Or is this the youtuber equivalent of posting banns? I am glad there’s all electric boats on offer now, and even an association. Last time I went boating I was passed by a couple of electrics whilst moored, and they were so wonderfully silent. Plus, I really really like the split bed. Think of all those English cheeses, that white crumbly Lancashire with a sprig of water cress, my mouth is watering already. Wensleydale, with an introduction by Wallace & Grommit. Volume ii could be French cheeses, volume iii Dutch cheeses - Time Life Books would have a field day. You'd have more volumes than your could shake a barge pole at. What is a barge pole by-the-way?

On the decoration (darker woods, no matter if painted that way or naturally dark doesn't matter, are more attractive to me, too) I agree, on convenience?
