I was wondering why that cut of the F hole away from the top plate is left so tight that varnish can easily bridge. Did I hear you say it is that was for appearance reasons? Nice demo. Lovely looking

Can't beleive such subtle changes can make such a difference in sound. Does the purfling add anything to the structure underneath it? Seems purposeful having it on both front and back.
