1790 meters & controllers - what to look for when purchasing

Can't beat the old finger pick up units in corn planter technology. They plant any size seed, and combination in the planter box, easy maintenance. Been running with that and bean seed meters in a 1760 planter. I will probably never go with all that technology the 1790 has. Just don't need it. Need $4 corn and $10 soys a hell of a lot more

Thanks very much - and a happy 4th of july weekend to you and yours as well ... I've been wanting to get a series of videos made on these planter. Everyone tells me I know more than most the JD salesman - lol - so I figure just as well share that info for others to learn from if they are in the market for something... most of this info - i learned the hard way - lol ... Thanks for the tag the other day - your corn looks fantastic... weve been very dry here - but had good sunsoil moisture .. we finally had 2 rains the past couple days... one was 4/10 and a couple days later a 1.55 ....those rains really made everything come to life - the crops looking good now ... If our markets come back and we have a good crop, we might have a decent year in 2021 ... Have a great day!

Thanks for checking in on me ... I haven't had much time this past month - but I have been filming .. my wife and I just welcomed our first baby together- so thats been taking up a considerable amount of time as well 😁 ..... but there will be more videos coming!
