17th WEKAF International ARNIS Event| Arzyan P. Fujita of the Philippines declared CHAMPION!

Arzyan Pardillo Fujita of Davao city, Philippines, won GOLD in the full contact padded stick event the male 16-17 years old , 58kg under weight division during the 17th WORLD ESKRIMA KALI ARNIS FEDERATION International Tournament.
Arzyan came to the international event very well prepared, physically after coming a summer arnis clinic program conducted by our very own Grand Master Mario Palazuelo together with Master Ade Sagne a former member of the elite Philippine National Arnis Team, they were hands on for about a month stay-in clinic which was from sun rise to sun set the training was worth it. Full of passion, dedication, perseverance, hardwork, patience, self discipline that made arzyan and his teammates competitive and at their finnest. Although mentally, he was also bothered by the expenses that's going to be shouldered by the atheletes, his mindset changed when his younger brother Aethan won a Gold in the recent Palarong Pambansa 2024 also held in the same venue at the Mandaue Cultural and Sports Complex.
