I purchased the top model diesel automatic black color and I got it with in 1 month of launch. The surprising part was I didn't take any test drive, i went with the looks and hyundai trust. Now i have already driven it 11k, and i must say I have no regret in purchasing the top model for 23.50 lacs. The features I got are actually practical, including ADAS. Now I am pro in using the ADAS, it just actually helps in driving convenience and trust me ADAS has no disadvantages if you are using it appropriately and in the right environment. Multiple times it saved me while i was reversing my car and some biker was coming from wrong side..also what he mentioned..side collision warning also helps when you take your car out from parking and if someone comes all of a sudden from blind spot, it actually breaks automatically. Also, front collision avoidance can be turned off, in my pov front collision warning is more than sufficient to keep you alert. Additionally, i just love the adavtive cruise control...i use it on highways along with lane keep assist and trust me, i usually go 5-6 hrs non stop without any fatigue..though tried it for 2.5 hr drive on Delhi Mumbai expressway. This adaptive cruise control is helpful in bumper to bumper traffic as it automatically breaks when the front vehicle comes to halt. Auto hold and hill assist adds more comfort. I have driven it in city, traffic, extreme mountains, off road and on buttery expressways...so i am fully satisfied. Rachit Sir Mine is Seltos 2020 diesel driven 60k Km. General service never crossed 6k per major serice. One has to be careful what all extra services they are adding. Orelse really affordable service cost for diesel. The main concern is Electrical parts. Koreans have same high price Electrical parts as Germans. My DPF Sensor was changed which costed me around 13k. Just for one sensor. Brake pads were nominal priced. But one has to careful regarding electrical components.

@@sasankpamidi No bro. Mine is 2020 model without adblue. Yes i have faced dpf error twice. But that was because of excessive city use. Dpf wasn't getting cleared at slow speeds. So had to get them burnt at service station. On my last service the performed CPF Regeneration service as well. Same thing as DPF. Costed 300 bucks. If you have a bs6 diesel make sure you do a spirited driving every couple of times in a month in the highway.

@@sasankpamidi My couple of friends have the new variant.. Only one friend got the check engine light coz of excessive city use only. Usually the newer variant can be driven more in city. But i would highly recommend you to drive your vehicle in highway atleast once in a week or two at higher RPMs for your system safety and long life

Get the creta ivt hands down. More refined engine. Ivtec is overrated. Everything else is a plus. Honda service is not as cheap as people make it out to be. Since they do not have many more vehicles, they loot the customers more. Also spare parts cost is very high and they do not give it to 3rd party as well. Just check out the elevate accessories cost to get an idea, they are exorbitant.

Elevate is also a good option,but problem is the nvh is not on par with creta , elevates engine is really great to drive with cvt as you said you drive sedately. Service costs are almost on par with Every car in the segment . Body works , painting works the labour is high which I personally experienced while fixing my Honda amaze but the work they did is so good .
