im in puerto rico. the storms have been passing north of us instead of over us like normal, its that gulf stream change, usa is getting it now instead...looks like uk had better prep, its all aiming towards you and getting stronger atm. coming years its going to increase.

Oh stop it. We had storms when i was a kid (late 60's 70's) and we didin't name them for added dramtic effect.. It's a storm. An area of low pressure bring rain, wind, lightning, thunder. Storm Ashley is a melt of a storm...

In the late 60s and 70s storms weren't named because they had already happened by the time they were forecast. There's nothing more pathetic than chasing after a destructive force and calling it a name after it's passed.

@@cordoroy9515 but the nettles are growing in my garden so no need to do a big trek. We keep our wood and straw dry to make fire. Kettle! What’s a kettle, we use a pot and cook our veg in the nettle water which we drank. Everyday, we woke up to weather.😂😂😂
