thanks for your sharing. i am chinese business man. have one important UK agent. but afraid of miss understanding his meaning cause of the accent. so i have to delay my visit again and again. how should i add your whatsapp or something. so maybe you can help me. also please tell me how much i should pay you per day. thanks. or your friend will be also ok.
學到了“Do you fancy a cuppa?”
I am always love and interested in British accent ( the standard southern one). Before this video, didn’t know each region in the UK sound so different.

super great stuff here~ thanks for creating this! I always have trouble understanding the standup comedy in Edinburgh. Accent really plays a strong part in communication.
Very beautifully useful. Great efforts to find interviewees

While studying in the US, an auditing professor invited 2 British auditors as guest speaker to share auditing experience with us. If I am not wrong, they are from Wales. I was completely lost during the 2-hour session. I simply can't understand what they said. It was an alien language to me, though I knew they were speaking "British English". After going through the entire career and working with people from all over the world, that was the only time I couldn't "manage" the accent.

Lovely, Susie... 😄Once I visit company London branch. I struggled to understand one guy... my London colleague told me that, "Oh, that guy, he is from Scotland, we also need a translator to understand his English as well." 🙂

This is an absolutely fantastic video-so informative and educational. Well done, everyone! My favorite singer, Ed Sheeran, is from Halifax, which I believe is in West Yorkshire. The gentleman you interviewed kind of sounds like Ed, though Ed’s accent might be influenced by all his travels. Once again, hats off to you all!

It was really not easy to make this video. I must give it a like to show my support! Thank you, blogger, for taking us to learn about different accents in various parts of the UK through on-site visits. It's of great help to me as a beginner in learning English. What's more, the blogger thoughtfully added Chinese subtitles. Thank you! This video has reignited my hope for learning English.🎉🎉🎉

Very interesting & well done work you did, thanks. During '88-'95, I had business connections with companies in Wolverhsmpton & visited there several times. I visited my friends there again in ''18 & last summer. The local people I met there pronounced 'Wooverrampton' instead, a stronger R tongue rolling. Different from those you met in Wolverhampton & Dudley. BTW, Sedgeley in Dudley has a very famous & historic pub called the Beacon Hotel (150+ years). I love their beers, specially the 'Dark Ruby' ale. I asked my friends driving me there whenever I visited the Black Country. At first they didn't know it exist (in early '90s) although they were born in Wolverhampton. Now they all love it. I've moved to Manchester for 7 years & I've found different accents in Stockport, Eccles, Oldham ... Keep up with your accent explorations, cheers.
