The only reason there aren’t even more goals in the Bundesliga are the top-class goalkeepers who are more obsessed with clean sheets than Germany’s five-star hotel managers.
And this season, the gloved guardians were once again at the top of their game. Incredible reflexes, bold blocks and flying fingertip saves all frustrated forwards with the likes of Manuel Neuer and Roman Bürki the bane of Bundesliga strikers’ lives.
