*Jzk Allah to you guys, I’m glad to be a part of the team bros. If any of the brothers and sisters have more questions, leave them in the reply section.* Here is additional information about me: - I am not completely disconnected from Somali culture. I’m familiar with the food, clothing, language, and other aspect of the culture. - Speaking about language, I can read and understand Arabic (only from the Qur’an). I can also speak fluent Somali in a social setting. Basically, I know enough Somali to talk to people casually and get around places but not enough to listen to the news. - Aanghel mentioned that he was going to teach me some martial arts and get me into exercise. I’m actually interested in weightlifting and I have some experience with Taekwondo, (only until Yellow Belt though), and I used to be hella good at running. I quit Taekwondo because the place that I was learning at never did any sparring and they never trained anywhere near real fighting intensity. It would be nice if I had a mentor to guide me along my weightlifting journey and martial arts. - We delved into my basketball hobby more in-depth but I also like drawing stuff occasionally and I love writing (especially writing first-person narratives). I also love learning about history, it’s another thing that drives me to study Islam and learn about how everything came to be. I don’t like my history class at school though, the way they teach it is trash. - When it comes to choosing a career or a path, I don’t like Math or Science type stuff, but as you can tell I’m more interested in History and English Language Arts. I’m also interested in designing things and having my own brand. I enjoy making my own design, my own title, and running my own thing. That’s all I know so far. And I have short term goals so I’m not completely unsure. I already know what type of things I like, I just don’t have a “dream job” *Ask me more questions*

I always thought it was just me. I never tell anyone about my struggles. It doesn’t matter how close I am to them. I only open up to telling people about it once I’ve already run to Allah and I coped with the situation. It makes me feel down when I run to someone right after the emotion hits me. They have this, “What am I supposed to do?” vibe even if they’re trying to help me.

2:28 the same advice is relevant to women too. emotional unavailability is one of the worst things ever, and venting to them may create further distance... while Allah wants to see us cry and complain to Him. when you do that with He alone, you learn how to emotionally regulate yourself, and show up to relationships feeling more at ease - not overburdening someone, or being overburdened. plus Allah DESERVES to be singled out in those things, because He knows you the best. He can actually change & support you! And doing that can be a form of worship, having taqwa and tawakkul in Him

My interpretation is since you won’t ever be able to maintain true equality (first part of ayah), do your best to not be overtly or apparently deviant in how much u favor one and try to be generally fair (second part of ayah). Otherwise the other verse saying if we cannot support more than one and be equal than only have one, would be a contradiction to the fact that we’re specifically allowed to have more than 1. My two cents. Always a good vibe with you akhi - Faiyad

'A woman being submissive to her husband is part of her submitting to Allah' Wish more women understood this. Muslim women keep parroting on about Aisha(ra) and Khadija(ra) to justify their views tainted with feminism, but somehow completely pass on over this aspect of Islam.
@zahraahmed79993 жыл бұрын
@precizion funnily enough, many of the people who use this argument are people who don't really practice the other things Aisha(r.a.) and Khadija(r.a.) used to follow, such as the way they practiced modesty. Yet they have the audacity to use these noble women's names for their own benefit. May Allah forgive us and protect us from misguided beliefs.

That beginning was really true subhanAllah. There is a Hadith where A'isha RA asked the Prophet SAW if the worst day he ever experienced was Uhud. (Notice how the Prophet SAW didn't tell her anything relating to the question before). He replied the worst day of his life, SAW, was the day he went to Ta'if. The profundity of this is that the Messenger SAW only complained to Allah, just like Yaqub AS in Surah Yusuf. This is the Prophetic example for us, the men of Rasoolullah SAW's Ummah. 'He replied, “I complain of my anguish and sorrow only to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know.' - Yaqub (AS) in Surah Yusuf 12:86

1:28:47 Just some advice for the brother...I know so many friends of mine that have gone through what you have been through this. Tbh with haram relationships, it is bound to happen that's because being a girlfriend/boyfriend is taken so lightly. And haram relationships essentially set you up to have trust issues. However, this is less prevalent in halal relationships because you have to *marry* the person to even go to the depth of showing so much of yourself to them. And obviously, marriage isn't something that is easy and simple. I feel like before you or anybody who has experienced what you have... you really need to heal yourselves before going into a relationship again. because marriage is a partnership and you should within that partnership be completely open with each other. if not it will inevitably lead to trust issues between the two of you and that would then lead to you both having a toxic relationship. whether it be 1 wife or 4 wives...if you don't trust one another the relationship WILL NOT last. (sorry for the long talk lol and please excuse any typos or grammatical errors)

We should never inform someone about everything in our lives or about ourselves, but a spouse is different. In regards to investing into someone, you need to be vulnerable to have a close and real relationship. You should feel comfortable with your spouse or else you are not creating a strong relationship. I think that Yasmin said it best that we need to make sure that you put the right things in the correct box in our hearts. You don't put your spouse or anything into the spot where Allah is supposed to be. This way Allah comes first and we aren't as hurt when someone hurts us because we didn't make them the most important thing in our lives. We need to make sure that our priorities are set correctly and that we don't worship someone.
@Faith760-3 жыл бұрын
Great episode mashaAllah! I just want to say regarding the emotional support, yes Allah is number one to pour your heart out to but I think there is nothing wrong with a man seeking emotional support from his woman, one because the essence of marriage is Mawaddah and Rahma, and Allah says “And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect” . Even prophet Mohamed peace be upon him the best of all mankind when he got his first revelation, he was scared and rushed back home to his wife Khadijah may Allah be pleased with her and said “cover me, cover me” and Khadijah took care of him and comforted him as the Hadith says. So I think it’s all about whether you can trust each other enough and believe in each other no matter what.

Subhanallah It's so refreshing to hear such solid facts becuz nowadays ppl try to twist things around to make the world happy. Like nahh there's a reason why a man should act like a man and a woman like woman becuz when this gets messed up. Ur literally disturbing the dynamic of nature and how allah created everything. We are only humans and if we try to go against Allah's perfection. Relationships would crumble down. From a woman's perspective even though I believe all of this, the feminism and influences around the world impacts u alot. It's rlly nice to hear this and be brought back to track again

100% agree with aanghel on polygyny. When u have 2 or more you’re less needy & this creates & maintains attraction. Plus as a man it keeps you sharp. But I hear Faiyad & rami too about, if u have purpose & Allah then you won’t be putting 100% in to a woman. However I would say neediness, what I mean by that is sexual energy can only be released through the opposite gender & we all know that when that spikes up then men become narrow and put the blinkers on, which results into neediness. But if u have many options to release that energy then that neediness is lessened. Emotional energy is for Allah only. Hopefully this makes sense lol.

@the3muslims Aanghel: Even though you're not speaking from a hurt place, the source/root of what you are saying is coming from uncertainty, fear or doubt. Those feelings come from satan but its rationalized due to unpleasant experiences. satan is deceptive and will make it seem like your thought process is rational and just but the root is impure. It needs to be replaced with an inner knowing that no matter what pain/hurt you go through, Allah swt gave you unconditional strength to not only endure for his sake but despite the foundation being rocked, as a man you still maintain that unconditional faith in God & still perform your duties as a husband. Don't let people's imperfections be the reason why you don't show up in relationships, love and in life 100%. God doesn't only want us to be the best follower but the best spouse, parent, sibling, child, etc. We can't control other people, but we can control ourself from spiraling when we experience an unfavorable outcome. Nothing is really unfavorable if you look at it, because in the experience we've gained more wisdom of what we want and don't want but also how to be here for self more. God will keep stretching us just when we think we've been patient enough, compassionate enough, or understanding enough. Trust that you won't allow yourself to be lost in your relationship & don't hold back because your wife earned to be in that position. I hope this brought you comfort and ease. Thank you for your efforts. I have learned so much from watching these podcasts about Islam & how men think and it's helped me learn how to better show up for my future spouse.

Don't take up anyone's debate challenge unless & until they are of your standard or higher as they are using your crowd towards them to get more attention for credits and money making. People see your name or famous people like Zakhir Naik etc on his video they click thinking it's your video. Then these kind of garbage get crowd. I see it as different type of crowd funding. They are so desperate.

Are money earned by pro martial artist halal. I always wanted to be a boxer
@The3Muslims3 жыл бұрын
Bro this is going to be my opinion so please take it as just that. It is a sport like any other sport. Sure, it's more violent but still, it is a sport and even then, people who engage in martial arts have higher levels of pain tolerance than people not in martial arts so something that might seem insane to a bystander is pretty normal, everyday type thing to a martial artist. As far as the bodily harm goes, that is an inherent risk but almost every sport has this inherent risk to certain extents. For example, skateboarding can pretty much kill you, would it then be considered haram? Also, if the money is being used appropriately on your end for lets say, charity, or let's say to further progress you in your journey to learn the most so you can teach others, then again, in my opinion, I see it as perfectly fine. I will agree with the fact that that alcohol, ringside chicks, and overall environment where these fights are taking place are haram but ultimately, again, in my opinion, if you're going in there to do your sport and get in/get out, then I see no harm since we cannot control others nor our environment 24/7. It's like saying being a soccer player is haram because the fans are drinking alcohol. It wouldn't make sense. I have a hard time comprehending a lot of the things that are supposedly "haram." Not because I want to do them but because it was just something that scholars agreed on and therefore it is now a ruling that it is haram when ultimately what is haram/halal is decreed by the creator, not us. As for the hadith where the prophet pbuh said to not strike your brother in the face, I believe that's up for interpretation and my interpretation of this is that for training purposes, it's fair game since for self defense it is halal. The only way to be able to strike to the face and avoid strikes to the face in a real life situation, is to train them in a controlled environment. If not, you won't be able to do much if god forbid the moment ever arises. And again, in my opinion, since martial arts is a sport, fight nights are still just another training day, just more intense and with a pay check. I may get a lot of sh*t for this but it's how I see it and I'll own up to it because at the end of the day, the only one who will truly judge me and my actions and know my intentions 100% is none other than Allah, not other people. In the end, you should seek guidance from the creator on your decision. Much love brother. - Anghel

Can you please make a video on Shiia Muslims and what I need to know about it. I kinda was Sunni. But I feel like I am now calling myself a shiia girl, as I practice like them. The reason I converted was a shiia man I fall in love with, he introduced me all his ideology of shiia. And it all seem so right to me. I also consider Ehlul bayt. Though I do not know much about them yet. Thank you in advance!
