Harry Flower Golf cheers Harry. Btw, it doesn't wind me up at all, you play a brand of golf I can personally identify with when I was your age. really enjoy the sublime with the ridiculous, and your genuine presentation. Just wanted to say, I think most comments, even the harsh sounding ones, are probably keen on wishing you well that's all.. And you're right, say thanks but listen to one voice, your real coach! Keep on..

SAS Golf You don’t need to be a PGA pro to spot basic errors in a golf swing. As you know the internet, apps and technology enables all golfers to better understand golf technique. And when you add in online instruction with people like Bobby Lopez, the ability to understand golf technique is more accessible than ever 👍

@3:08, loved seeing you actually setting up for a proper fade there @10:58 was probably one of the best looking swings you've made recently, everything smooth and in sync. A thought about the idea of trying to smooth out your tempo though. You've talked about the shut club face being just how you've always played, but a shut club face requires faster rotation to square up, so be careful when you talk about smoothing out/slowing down. You need fast hips otherwise that shut clubface will send you left every time. The magic formula there is faster hips but quieter legs and matching the upper body to that. Have you ever actually experimented with a more neutral takeaway?

When you slow it down you hit shots so much better, but for some reason 80% of the time you want to come down so steep and kill the ball along with the turf! Loving the quality and style of video. You’ll find a feeling that works on the course, be that tempo or lack of tension. I definitely think a left shot is generally both, fast transition with too tight a grip. That’s the reason once the lefts have started they just get worse! Who can relax after that. One other comment. Have you had a putting lesson/fitting on a Quintic system. Your putts didn’t seem to be rolling great. I’d bet you could save a few shots there. Keep up the good work.

Enjoy the vids Harry, do you think practicing on mats is good for your game? I stopped using the mats and went to another range that allow practice off the grass during the summer, my consistency of ball striking dramatically improved on the course. With the mats you can never always tell how steep you are at impact, they are too forgiving! Just a thought. Keep up the good content, just enjoy the fact you get to spend everyday on the course!

@GatsbyA35 жыл бұрын
the timing in your swing is really important, as your left knee get inside and doesn't give that much resistance to your lower body, your upper body reaction is to move (it has no other choice do so in fact..). the conclusion can be absolutely gorgeous on some shots, like the 6 hole tee shot, or terrible like the 5 hole tee shot... and a day where your are not feeling well or you didn't have time to stretch and a bit stiff, it is not a 70/71/72 but a 80/82/83... my 2 cents... :D nice vids
@CB-xv3qx5 жыл бұрын
All the comments about stop trying to work the ball is insane. A good rounded golfer can play both ways. Keep trying, it will get there. All the comments about slowing your tempo and steepness is insane. Your tempo is your tempo, is it fast, yes, but it's yours. Learn to control the club face through the swing and all will be fine.

You’re trying to hit the ball too hard. Take an extra club and swing within yourself. Tempo control and trajectory control. It will come. I wonder does doing a commentary help or hider. How many thought are in your head over the ball? Should only be thinking about #target. If you miss read a putt accept it and move on. How well did you stick to your putting routine on those bad putts? That’s ALL you should be concerned about. If you didn’t then double down on your next putt.

Good work here- stick with trying to find tempo, can see you’re really trying just hasn’t clicked yet for you on the course. You’re still very jerky from the top of the swing- need to trust that you can accelerate into the downswing as opposed gaining all your speed right at the top. Think 0-30 not 0-60mph, so to speak from the top. Good work
