I got into the DS trilogy in high school and made some very good memories with those games. In my opinion they represent the apex of the Iga-vania style. Everyone else can have their Symphony of the Night. It's truly fantastic yes,, but I feel like elements of that game haven't aged as well as the DS trilogy has. I personally have a strong fondness for Portrait of Ruin in particular. But Order of Ecclesia came VERY close to unseating it as my favorite Iga-vania. Also yeah the music is so good I legit ordered a physical copy of the OST lol.
