Update Wow this video has had over 500 views. I only have 50 odd subscribers. I can only put it down the popularity of Lanie and wish her well in her career. I don't do this for exposure, its for myself to break from the day to day monotony and have some fun but exposure is an added bonus lol

this girl is the real deal check out all her other songs on youtube and her original songs that she writes herself or check out her instagram or twitter and then there you can see that shes so talented and she sings this song better than stevie and even stevie gave her props for doing such an amazing cover of the song. i cant wait til she goes on tour she would be awesome to seee live in concert

Hi...First time I've seen you so I don't know your background. So far I've seen at least 4 other "reaction" video's on You Tube all dealing with that first reaction when hearing Lanie sing. Firstly, what is it with these first reaction video's?..;)....I haven't seen it with any other singer/musician, but then I haven't been looking for anyone else other than Lanie ;) Anyway, like with everyone else that took time out to listen to Lanie for the first time - its that first expression I see on there faces as soon as Lanie starts to sing and your expression was no different, quite priceless really, Lanie's voice is interesting and maybe unique, I don't hear any country influence but in this cover she's pretty close to Stevie Nicks but I feel Lanie has taken this song and made it her own and placed a feeling in it that Nicks doesn't achieve, and there's no backing vocals its Lanie all the way through, and for some reason you never finished the song that last high note which other "reactionists" all so liked. With over 16 million views so far, Lanie has had success and has been recognized by a Recording company, even an acknowledgement from Mick Fleetwood himself....Lanie is definitely a rising star, her own song "Cry Me A River" is particularly masterful....thanks for giving Lanie some air time on your You Tube Channel.....;)

Your not the 1st to mention the last note. I feel terrible I didn't let it run but my channel is still very new and was especially new then. I'm still learning and not got much equipment so it's all one take filming etc. Thanks for the view and to answer your question about first reaction I dont honestly know. I'm a big music fan and love listening and potentially finding new favourite artists so after a redundancy and more free time in lockdown decided to review music more more my sanity than anything else. A friend showed me this song and a little digging told me to try 1st listen reaction too. Sorry the answer doesn't explain alot but again thanks for the views.
