Thank you for your videos and sorry about my English. My daughter, now almost three, began showing signs of regression at about 20 months. Till then there were no repetitive behaviours, no picky eating ( she would go for everything) she had good eye contact and normal motor skills, smiling a lot, playing peek a boo, also playing with her sister. The only thing that made me a little uneasy was that she seemed more ' like a baby' than expected according to her age. At around 20 months she started running endlessly ( this was the first sign). At 22 months she lost her only word ( which was " milk") and lost her normal till then eye contact completely, also stopping responding to her name. At the same time spinning and hand flapping as well as not eating strated. When she finally turned two ( a little less than a year ago) and developing no speech I started seeing clearly that she neither understands when spoken to. We got the diagnose for the spectrum and started immediately every day intervention. She had progressed those 9 months of therapy : understanding some things, producing a few words -mostly naming things she sees- waving goodbye, playing pretty much appropriately with toys, dancing hand in hand with other kids in circle dance. She eats only bread, milk and sweets. She is sleeping o.k and has to tantrums. Except for dancing she shows no interest in peers. We are doing early start Denver model , which was not easy to find and also expensive, as Greece is way behind in those fields. She is also attending private nursery school ( the government doesn't offer us for free) accompanied by a privately paid therapist. We are financially exhausted and there is no time for me to share with her as I need to work very heavily to support ( nanny is taking care of her daily, trained by her therapists in Denver model). At the beginning of facing our little girl's situation I thought I wasn't going to make it phycologicaly and that I would collapse ( the worst Christmas period in my life). Her father is dealing with it through anger and pesimism...Then suddenly and fast I felt pretty strong, tried to find the best treatments in Athens and working heavily to provide... I am sorry if I wrote too much... It is the first time I am writing in internet

Thanks so much for your videos! I just want to say that I was where you were a couple years ago and since then I have learned that we’ve all actually been duped. The idea that “autism and vaccines has been thoroughly studied” is nothing but a bold-faced lie. If you read the fist couple chapters of the book “Turtles All the Way Down,” you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. It was an extremely hard pill for me to swallow, but at the same time, I understood that we, the mothers, were never to blame. It’s so easy to blame ourselves but knowing this helps us to know that we are doing our absolute best for our amazing little children and the ones that pretended to care the most were just looking out for their financial interests. I hope this finds you well and once again thank you 🙏 for making these informative videos.

This was the first thing to hurt so bad in the process ...the fact that I didn't noticed what is happening, and that feeling that they weren't them anymore. I started and couldn't stop thinking of how people who had someone close, that went through an accident or ill followed by memory loss, could handle the situation. Ower twins both have been diagnosed recently and they have 2 years old, and being so early, we are very afraid of how things will be (like if they will ever talk or understand things)...time and terapie will tell us, and hopefully they will tell us. 🙂 Good luck! 🥰

My son is 9 and diagnosed with ASD and he never had a regression, I started noticing things when he was 5, my middle daughter isn’t diagnosed but feel she will be diagnosed shortly she is 7 and again no regression. The reason your video came up in my search is because our youngest daughter is 15mths old, it was till her 12mth old check that I realised I hadn’t heard her say mum, dad and nan in a while, she was also no longer pointing, clapping and blowing kisses, she no longer leans in for a kiss if I ask her for one, she has only waved less than a handful of times in the last couple of weeks, she wasn’t responding to her name however she has started to around 70% of the time now. She doesn’t imitate us or follow along with actions to songs etc in all honesty I am trying to prove my thoughts on what is happening wrong, we are in Melbourne so has the lockdown affected her development 🤷♀️ but she also has the older two for interaction etc, we have a hearing test this coming week to see if there’s anything a miss there, I’ve kind of been driving myself crazy googling and everything seems to point back to autism.

While her path isn’t easy for her she is absolutely gorgeous, she is who she is meant to be and I can’t wait to watch her grow.

I give too much eye contact and talk about my interests to the point that it annoys people. I get easily upset when I feel like im not being listed to. I am sensitive to sounds,lights,and certain textures. Idk if I have had a 18 month regression but my little brother Definitely did.

In ouer case I say it was vaccines. My family and frainds also think vaccines had something to do with it and they all vacinated. Not every child will have this reaction to vaccine but mine has. My boy was very healthy baby. Even his doctor said he was advanced and strong boy. He was walking by 11 months, had words mamma and dady by then. But looking back, i first remember I got worried when he recived a shot at about 7 months. That night he was screaming his head off, it wasn't a nightmare, it was more like his brain was hurting. He never screamed like that before. He was always a great sleeper. Something made me think it was nurelogical. It was only that night, and I watched him for days and he seemed fine. He always slept like angel and that screaming felt very strange to me, just cant explain it. Months past and his development started to slow down, but he was healthy, strong and I put it aside. I now think that every shot he recived did something to him, It just wasn't that noticible before. His motor skills were good, he was very happy boy and very social, but speach was very avrage. And then he had a MMR vaccine at 18 months. I felt in my gut that something was going to happen, but I didn't know what to do. In my countrey vaccines are mandatory. This is what happend 3 weeks after MMR shot: screaming and waking up every night, and staying awake from 2 till 6 in the morning, severe constipation with some blood in it, red eye for more then 2 months, didn't want to eat most foods he liked, he lost most of his words, didn't want to repeat new words all use words at all, no finger pointing, no responding to his name, hiperactivity, banging his head on the floor, he was always very happy baby but then as if his persona changed and he bacame grumpy, crying, screaming mostly, didn't like being touched by grandparents anymore, stimming, tantrums, didn't wave for goodbye anymore, like he couldn't understand things that much, he developed strange behaviours, spinning, shaking his head, and so on. It's a long list. Still I wasn't shure it was the shot, because they mentiond autistic kids can regress at 18 months. I did some research and I put him on detox from heavy metals, and he came back to us. This is what we got back after 10 months of detox: finger pointing, responding to his name, happy again, sleeping all night and 2 hours a day, eating more things, understanding and doing simple commands, say goodbye and waves most of the time, loves people and interaction, he loves being with grandparants again, has some functional play now, partialy mimics, no more constipatipated, he can understand function of things, he can eat by him self, he can be calm and watch a whole cartoon with me, he plays nice with others, great non verbal communication, he has few words and question sentences but a lot of echolalia. He was doing quite good qith this detox program but because we have mandatory vaccine he got a shot at 2 years old and had another regression, when we lost some of this progress and almost all words, but after 6 months we are back on track, and detoxing still. So he will be 3 yeras old in march and I have a feeling he will be talking by the time he is 3 years old. He still has language problems, problems with understanding of some words, mild sensory problems, he is not potty trained, and has some problems with regulating his emotions. Because of Covid he hasn't been diagnosed with anything but speach delay, but he is on a list for early intervention. In ouer case a can clearly see detox works and he is geting better every day...so I'm very optimistic.

How did you exactly do the detox thing??? Please elaborate
@lydie14163 жыл бұрын
@@artland387 diet for liver detox (no eggs, corn, white rice, gluten, processed suger, dary, no oil) eating lots of smooties, potatoes coconut or alomond milk, some meat, lots of frutis and vegetabels. It is a type of biomedical treatment. We used iodine 2% ( 2 drops), zink, selenium, magnesium, vitamin c, vitamin d, b12, 5mthf, barley grass, spirulina, acz zeolit in spray, fish oil and now carnosine extra supliment for speach. I'm from Europe, but i also found on line doctor that doesn simmilar detox as we do it is called Spectrum awakaning, maybe he can help. I have seen they have suplements called simple spectrum. It is simmilar to what we use and I hear it's quite good. We don't use it but with ouer program we have seen great progress. I belive this was vaccine injury and that way this is working. Just to clear, when you detox, when the bad stuff is leaving the body it can seem like it's gating worse, but it is not. It is called herx reaction to detox. We just stop everything for 24 houers or lower the dose. I folow his progress by ATEC skore. He had 81 points on ATEC after vaccine, and now, after 12 months he has 45 points. Lower the 10 points it's not spectrum anymore. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your sharing, I am experiencing almost the same with my 18 months old baby, She walked at 8 months, was repeating words by 10 months, saying many words and then around 11 monts don't know what happened no more repeating, no more following simple directions, I am so scared now she is 18 months, we are leaving in US ans I don't know if I could refuse to give her her shots because I have that strong feeling that it is all those vaccines that caused this, sometimes they gave her 3 vaccines at the same time and she was just a baby I did'nt know what was mandatory or not. I am so scared
@lydie14163 жыл бұрын
@@qweencynews4185 I understand the worrie. I live in Europe and in my countrey vaccines are mandatory. I can advise you to contact Spectrum awakaning it is in US. They can maybe help you with some products to detox her. I know they have a product that you can give to her before and after vaccine. If there is any way to avoid it, try it, if not, find a good detox plan. In my countrey I belive children get about 30 vaccines before they start school. I am 41 years old and I had about 6 vaccines in my life. Can you imagen! I think US children get more vaccines then any other countrey, and that is horrific. I wish you all the best. Your mother intuition was spot on, if he would have received this vaccines it could be much much worse. Vaccines contribute autism but not the only cause. There is no denying the 100 of thousands of parents sharing that their child regressed after vaccines. There are many parents that focus on detoxing and find big improvements in their child’s autism. Signs of autism mimic signs of high metal toxicity. The book “how to end the autism epidemic” is a great informative read.

Speech theray can be a great tool. If they are able to learn to speak, great. if it's not in the cards, either at all or very little, they can help them learn to use communication devices. My son's speech therapist said that in some cases using the communication device can actually help speech develop. (And I'm not gonna lie, I do hope my son does become more verbal because the communication device physically sounds creepy 🙈*shaking head at self* but I do know that if he does need to continue using it and have one at home too, I need to shut that reseistant voice up and not push it and embrace him communicating the way *he* needs to.) Occupational therapy can also be useful to help them learn coping skills and stuff in a healthy way. However please don't do things like training eye contact. When this is done, it's not actually a case of "getting better," what it really is is learning to mask autistic traits which is very draining and psychologically damaging(can lead to development of depression and anxiety) . For many autistics, eye contact is physically painful. Meaning the discomfort with it expresses itself physically in the body, and very intensely. After I discovered i'm autistic a little over a year ago, I started learning what masking was, figuring out what I was masking and working on unmasking, like allowing stims that I had previously been subconsciously supressing, and not forcing myself to make eye contact if I wasn't comfortable to(that I didn't even realize was forcing myself), anyway since doing these things, my mental health has started to improve. Before all this I didn't know what was wrong with me, I thought I was just broken and/or going crazy. Now knowing I'm autistic and that autistic traits are not a failing to be corrected, they are perfectly fine and wonderful and to be embraced, at 33, I've finally started to blossom and figure out who I really am and embrace my authentic self. And it has also helped me to cope better with meltdowns because 1. I'm more aware of the signs of when one is coming and can take steps to calm it before it starts, and/or 2. I embrace it when it happens and allow myself to feel what I feel and do the soothing things I need to do and in this way it is a release, instead of resisting it and making it worse and still feeling bad after. Oh and whatever you do, stay away from ABA "therapy". The vast majority of the adult autistic community verify that it is harmful and traumatizing. I've done some research on it and in this way I am grateful my autism was missed because holy shit it is nothing short of training human beings like dogs.

I have so many questions but I know all kids are different. My first main question is how much money is involved. This has me absolutely terrified. I’ve seen $2000 each time u see a specialist.. my son is showing a lot of signs and money and anxiety is stopping me getting him checked. He still hasn’t said mum or dad. He just makes noises. My partner doesn’t think there is anything wrong.. I know there is. I spend 24/7 with him and have 3 teen daughters that didn’t do anything like this.. I’m so worried..:( ( he is 21 month old..)

@@lordspower7757 honestly? We had to vacate our home due to flooding and stay at our inlaws. 3 weeks now and his speech has improved 100% rather than being with me all the time. I don’t think at all that he has autism anymore. He is a bit slow but he’s doing great.:)

Vaccines don’t cause autism 🤦♀️
@Amy-wu4sr3 жыл бұрын
@@denhamarmstrong1669 ICAN sued the CDC and won recently regarding this. CDC had to change their statement on their website that vaccines do not cause autism. They have zero proof or studies that show it does not cause autism. Vaccines are def a huge cause to the rapid raise in autism cases but many other causes to autism regression as well. Metal toxicity symptoms mimic autism symptoms. Might be interested in reading “how to end the autism epidemic” The 12 or 15 month vaccines could have contributed to his regression. To deny vaccines aren’t causing harm isn’t. There is no studies done that vaccines don’t cause like she claims. She hasn’t researched, it would be so beneficial f she would read on it.

@@laurenlouisecrawford3715 so your case is different. Anyone can have adverse side effects from immunizations and ASD symptoms is included in the adverse side effects for immunizations. Happy to hear your case is different however we have to be mindful everyone reacts differently. Praying you child improves developmentally. Believe we all should show support and if we don’t agree we don’t have to respond.

Any vaccine for autistic baby?
@sunshinelovenv4 жыл бұрын
My granddaughter is a picky eater now at 18 month. She used to like baby food, now she doesn't. Lots of kids spin. Love swings and means nothing. She looks at me In the eye once in a while. Means nothing. I think some cases are exaggerated just because they have a few symptoms. I don't believe in autism. It's not the vaccination. To me every baby is different. Just my opinion, I don't need ignorant posters to respond.

It you don’t want ‘ignorant’ posters to respond then don’t write ignorant comments in the first place. You are fully entitled to your opinion but until you care for a child/adult with Autism don’t be so quick to dismiss!
