Your locs are growing wonderfully. I am currently 16 months in. I started with about 3 in of hair. Two years before I started my locs I did a bc and released just below BSL natural hair. Had I known I would wind up locking my hair, I would not have cut it. I also thought at about a year to year and half my locs would be a bit longer. But it takes a lot of length and energy to loc hair. I think i can only see about a 3 in gain. I am hoping that by year 2, I will finally be able to get a ponytail at least. Maybe! Hang in there. I almost cut mine a few times because it just seemed it wasn’t growing as fast as I thought it would or should. Everyone is different.
