Love your videos. I noticed at the entrance, grass/weeds are invading your gravel driveway. Here is a remedy that is environmental friendly. Vinegar, salt, and dish soap Mix one gallon of white vinegar, one cup of salt, and one tablespoon of dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray the leaves and stems of the weeds. The acetic acid in vinegar breaks down cell walls, and the salt and dish soap draw moisture from the weeds.

Hi, Laura & Dan; Use the ashes as fertiliser for yours fruit and olive trees. Spread them around about 2 feet from the tree trunk. This will inverse fruits productions . I do this for my apple and pear trees. All the best to you.

The best way I find to fill in rendering the wall if you get a heavy plastic bag & put your mix in the bag & cut the corner of the bag & just think of you putting icing on a cake it’s the same way in doing it & then rub it down with a damp sponge it might help you in pointing between the walls & get though it quicker hope that helps & great work to both of yous too

Laura & Dan, hello sweet friends! I pray you both are well. 🙂The gate upgrade is so nice. I like how you find time to complete upgrades. It is so nice to have the cement floor when you have to pressure wash. You can easily wash all that debris right out the door! Pretty nifty! Thank you for your honesty about pointing. God bless you both for your patience and persistence. The fireside chat was lovely as well. Your chats are my favorite part of all your videos. I imagine some day in the future you telling your children about your adventures and hard work. They can also watch the videos of Mum and Dad working so hard and sharing their hearts with others. Thank you for the inspiration, the healing, a moment in time spent with you both, and working for our Lord. In my prayers and love in Christ. ~John Psalm 19:14 NKJV "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer."

Compost compost compost. It is always a good idea to get into a composting cycle so you can return all those nutrients back into the soil. I have a 2.5 acre homestead and we build compost bins and bio reactors to put all of that back into the land. While it may not be in your budget, mulching those limbs and putting them back around the base of the trees will make them VERY happy...plus it will help choke out weeds around the trees, leaving all the goodies for the trees to enjoy. Also look into making a charcoal retort. The charcoal can REALLY help your soil become self-sustaining and live with beneficial microbes and things.

Hi Guys, hello from Canada, nice to see you back, nice job with the wall, hey about burning, clippings, get your self a shredder and use it as a ground cover around your trees, not a to large circle but enough to give back to the trees what they used from the soil they are growing on, so it is a good fertilizer and ground over for shading in a hot climate even the ashes from some of the stuff you still might burn also good fertilizer, and burning is not cool anyway, a lot of pollution for the atmosphere, avoid burning as much as you can, if you like the look of it very small fires give you the same pleasure, and by the way fires can start much bigger fires, even not wanted

Hey Roland nice to hear from you and thanks for lovely comment. We priced one up but they are too expensive out hear :( and just not worth the price. We used some of the larger ones for firewood and some for compost. Its out of fire season now so not possible. Thanks for watching ❤

Hi Laura & Dan - hoping that Portugal will follow France and change the rules for British home owners so you can at least choose your visit times better. France is making it so you can still only do 180 days but you can spread them out how you like throughout the year 🤞 I know it's not what you want eventually but it might make it more workable while you're waiting for residency x

Guys not sure if you use this already, but i always use the Kärcher Rotating Dirt Eater Nozzle 180 bar. This nozzle is bad ass, if removes the skin from your body. Just a tip in case you don't have it yet. It's an real upgrade and nothing to compare with. Also don't forget the Gardena combo system Telescopic Fruit Picker, we also use it for our own fruit trees, my wife has a serious rheumatic condition but this tool does wonders for her and she wouldn't miss it for anything in the world ( if it's harvest time ofc). There are ofc a lot of other brands that do the same thing, but just showing.
