If you empty your ink tank, you can see a hose running from the top to the bottom, which is how the ink gets in and out. There is also a small red light on the top, that lights up when you have enough ink for your sub. AND the rescue ring in salmon run the Inklings and Octolings carry on their back, also serves as an ink tank. You can see it empying as you shot and it has the same colour as your ink, when it's full. It also has a light that shows you if your splat bomb is usable, 2/3rds on the tanks capacity, which is how much ink the splat bomb uses.

Yeah, I've noticed that, and it's a really neat and possibly even practical little feature, since your ink tank as a UI element is only available when submerged, you have no idea how full your tank is otherwise

In Splatoon 2, that bombs in Salmon Run cost ¾ of a tank. Glad they lessened it.

In case you didn't catch it , you can yeet yourself by standing on the basket's spawning platform in Salmon Run as it spawns.

You can also throw golden eggs with the L button. This is useful for if you're trying to jump over stuff like a Big Shot shockwave and don't want to use the A button.

While playing the Grizz co tutorial, dying too much while fighting a boss OR when failing to meet the quota during the tutorial, "Mr Grizz" will give you special dialogue And when using the H-3 Nozzlenose, you will hear a special sound when killing somebody

In the lobby, you can press the L button to go to the match menu when you aren’t in the pot thing. Let the copy bot throw some of its ink on the floor, and then if you stand on it and press L, you won’t get damage from standing on enemy ink. Furthermore, if you jump right after pressing B to close the menu, you can jump full height (you shouldn’t be able to jump that high on enemy ink) and not take damage. In certain cases, you may take damage but jump full height just fine. There’s a little animation when pressing B of zooming out of your character, so jump after that. Timing can be a little tricky sometimes. Make sure not to jump too early or too late.

Small fry seems to break Big Mans AI during his fight. Especially when he gets in his smaller forms, noticed that he can get stuck trying to hit small fry with all his attacks and gets stuck unless he uses his charge attack. Think max level small fry is a must.

There was this one match where one of the enemies was just circling my sniping vantage, not really trying to fight me, and I said, "this guy is distracting me" and then I look over and see that without my watchfull gaze the enemy had recaptured the tower and I was like, "oh, he was actually distracting me."

I just found that in story mode, the octolings’s ink color looks like the fuzzy ooze color, which is logic because they have sort of hairs because of the fuzzy ooze so that makes sense

One of the new bands, Front Roe, is made up of members of the games first band, Squid Squad. They're the ones who wrote Splattack and Now or Never, and its lead singer, Ichiya, is once again singing songs in Splatoon 3.
