@@ItsAMiiBo I actually don't know currently but I talk with the guys at PlayStation Ain't Dead who are even bigger collectors then me and I'm sure they know. I also collect non-American releases too. My guess would be around 1300-1400.

Its funny that im not the only one that struggles, deciding what platform to buy games for. lol I personally feel like anything thats more "AAA" would be better to get on a Xbox/PS5 because it just runs better, while metrovania and indie games fit better on the switch. However i get conflicted with stuff like Ys origins, Celceta etc.. getting it on switch, rather than ps5. Specially since I have Y's 8-10 on PS5.

Honkai Star Rail is a really good Trails style turn based RPG. I might get the physical copy just for the goodies. And DW Origins is definitely my most anticipated game for the month. Monster Hunter next month is my main game for the year

Darksides 1 and 2 are so good. Also technically DS1 warmaster edition doesn't need a ps5 version, the game already runs at 60fps. The first one is also less demanding and runs perfectly fine on ps4/X1, while DS2 was originally (360/ps3) plagued with screen trearing and fps drops.

Dark siders 2 🔥 I think that's the only ps5 game I want this month. Re 7 gold is tempting but i heard its just a code in the box for the dlc... January is absolutely stacked between switch and ps5 omg.

@JaneTheDoe-id2vx I just looked it up on the resident evil site and yes the esrb version comes with a voucher for the dlc. So it's pretty pointless to buy if you have it on ps4 already. Looks like the pal version MAY have it all on disc.

I am a Switch collector that stared to collector PlayStation too. I know exactly what you feel. Should I get it for one or both. I am not that rich to pay 120 - 140 for "one" game 😢

I played freedom wars for the Vita and yeah it was fun but definitely dated. The story is in my opinion mid but I think that's because the developers thought they were going to make a sequel to help flesh out the plot but it did not happen. But to me, the game really shined with multiplayer.

I've already ordered resident evil 2, 3 and 7 ps5. So happy the physical finally happened. I got them cheaper from video games plus. Plus I ordered resident evil 4 gold edition ps5. It's the pal import. Sadly the dlc isnt on disc but i still wanted it. Then I also ordered mario kart 8 + booster course pass wave 1-6 physical. The complete version with no downloads. Back in November I ordered croc legend of the Gobbos remastered physical for both switch and ps5 from rock it games. Can't wait to get everything. It's sold out now because it was a limited preorder. But I'm so happy a physical happened. My childhood game is back 😊
