How on earth do you balance playing so many games, a committed relationship, two KZbin channels, and I assume a day job?? 😭 Like I’ve been fine between high school and college cause I’ve had nothing to do but when during rehearsal season for my senior musical earlier this year I played a combined 7 hours in March and April.

Yeah there’s just no way…you’d have to play games all day and not work full time. I’ve managed to play A LOT of games for decades but it gets increasingly difficult no matter how much free time you have.

Holy crap I think I might actually get my first Ys game! The gameplay of memoir looks like a fun mix of live action combat and platforming. I'm glad to hear it's short also! These videos expose me to so many things I'd never even bat an eye at normally

I don't remember symphonia remastered on switch being as bad as people say it was. I know there was some frame drops in some cut scenes but to me that kinda stuff doesn't mess up a game for me.

I beat Symphonia on the Switch. The non-patched had a cut-scene that would be cut short. During encounters there would be a long flash and you would start battle after the enemies by like a second. The desert area really lagged in the overworld. Couple of bugs here and there. Bandai fixed it with patches. Now it's fine but still runs at 30fps.

That Ys game is a remaster of the 1989 game Ys3: Wanderers from Ys that came out on the TurbografixCD back around 90 or 91 I think. The new remaster seems to be based off the PC remake from 2005 that came to PSP much later. PSP version was great so I’m pretty hopeful for this remaster.
