£18 North Ocean Hotel Promenade Blackpool - Budget UK Hotel - Cheap British Seaside Holidays

So sad to see the decline of this once great hotel. We stayed in the North Ocean twice a year May and September, from 2015 to 2019. It was then owned by Wayne until May 2017, we were the first guests of the new owners Frankie and Mike. Downstairs there was a Stonegrill restaurant. When we stayed it was number 1 on Tripadvisor. We stayed in Room 10 a seaview suite, the biggest room in the hotel. We would book months in advance as it was a popular room. Often booking in the May for the September. It was a big room with french doors that opened onto the verandah. It was a nice place to sit and have a pint or glass of wine and look down onto the Prom. The last time we stayed was May 2019. The hotel was then owned by someone from London. That was the start of the decline.

you did work out you hang your clothes up in the wardrobe and when you turn on the kettle they get steam cleaned. The cutrain rain is not central to the window as well as it being not level. curtains look very very cheap., the shower head is a one that does colours when the water temp changes. May be the kitchen tap in the bathroom is to give the distance so the kettle can go under to fill it.

OMG that room looked gross just walking in 18 quid or not please don’t tell me you stayed in that!! I bet he’s says that to every one about the shower head 🤣 not bad not bad !!! Nah could not stop there the beds look mingin I still could not drink out of that kettle I’m not a snob!!! 😂 movin on !!!till the next one 😊

Its not one of the worst but ok for one or two nights.i wouldent stay there but its ideal for someone who is homeless

Definitely would not stay there, unless i had no choice. Alright if your down on your luck, better than sleeping in the cold. Its bitterly cold at moment, would be dry and warm at least.

Will be staying at Blackpool Travelodge a week Sunday for five days I'll let you know how it is so maybe you could review it in the future 👍.. this place would be ok for a couple of nights at the most 👍

Travelodge, make sure you sleep in your clothes, that place is a Dump.

£18 does not buy very much anymore... You got a genuine bargain there...... Always remember as a rule YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. True genuine bargains are very rare indeed. It always makes my p1ss boil when someone buys something that is cheap and is not very good and then they "Slate it" and leave poor reviews for that product they bought that was inexpensive.... Never understand why cheap b@astards don't understand that you only get what you pay for..... Obviously, they must be a bit dense. One more time....... YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR (As a rule) When you buy something cheap ....Corners have to be cut to get the price down. £18 for this room was a steal.

As I said in the video I'd stay again and for the money I paid it was pretty good. Yes it did have its issues but for £18 it was a steal
