I think the anything series is nice. Seeing things like restaurant food being made at home, it's pretty cool.

i always like Alvin's no-waste approach. Make too much pie dough? Cool, we'll also make some snacks. Make a giant plate of food that no one could hope to eat on their own? Awesome, the crew has been working hard all day, let's feed them!

@@ideamissing I never noticed but yeah I love that too. With Babish if there is a mistake sometimes he mentions it will be reused but he usually just cuts to a new batch being made. Alvin shows the scraps or extras made into something else. I like seeing how even a mistake can be reused

You guys really should invest in a professional wok burner. It would make all your asian cooking much easier and taste better. Regular stoves are nothing like the jet burners woks are supposed to be used with.

My favourite part of this is when people take the food home. It reminds me of the parties we had at work (when I worked in a place that had an office) and I'd bring zip bags, foil, plastic wrap and extra plates just to make sure we threw nothing away.

The new website supposedly provides a powerful cooking experience though apparently only if you are willing to pay. While I can appreciate that he needs to make a living, the fact that that was not announced and mentioned upfront makes the new website feel really shady and discourages from joining. He should really do an update video explaining what the deal is and his reasoning behind the paywall given the ads and sponsorships that he already has for his channel.
