Please repsot this with MUCH louder audio. It looks like Clark gave a really good overview of the ramming the sand and pilling the model. Too bad, I could not hear what he was saying. Keep up the great videos Keith.

Luckily, the subtitle system seems to do a decent job at transcribing the quiet audio. Turn on the captions and try that.

i used to work in a bronze foundry. i was the crane operator for metal pour. our crucibles were 2-3x's the size used here and held around 350lbs of bronze poured at 2300 degrees. had many close calls working there. foundry work is extremely dangerous.

Tell Clarke that we don't mind a little Cheezy humour! Probably one of the most commented things on Keith's channel lately is how his new puppy was playing with a hoist chain and everybody LOVED IT and thought it was hilarious!!

Another whole new world opens up in this video. Science, skill, centuries of learning in the field passed down through decades of practice Most of us never think about the items we handle all the time. I'll have an appreciation now for every casting I put my hands on. So cool!

That Clark Easterling seems like a real decent person, you too Mr. Rucker. Thanks for making videos of your hobbies and interests to share with the rest of us. It means a lot more than you may think it does. Hope, interest, creativity seem to be lacking in most media anymore and y'all seem to enjoy providing those things without even knowing it. you seem to be shrinking on us. I heard it best to never call it a diet. It is far better to say I am making a nutritional adjustment for the long term.

Great post Keith. This fellow sure knows his stuff eh. I use Petrobond with my silver castings as it leaves a smoother finish but the process is identical and a LOT SMALLER, LOL. Stop by one day Kieth. I would be honored by a visit from you. We can never be without, Sprues, Runners and Vents in this process. It will be great to see the end result. See you then.

For as much foundry work Clark does, I'm amazed he doesn't pick up some used foundry equipment like metal flasks, a jolt/squeeze, induction furnace, etc. The small job shop foundry industry in the US has steadily declined in the past 25 years resulting in a glut of used equipment.
