We have just returned home today to Scotland from 2 weeks at Disney World. While you were filming this on July 4th we were enjoying the unexpected quietness of Hollywood Studios! Your videos have helped us out so much in making our holiday so successful and enjoyable and my husband took every opportunity to pass on your tips to other park guests in the lines! We loved playing the genie slots and as you suggest, looked at it like a game - celebrating each time we managed to get an earlier time. Amazing!! Thank you so much, Rob! 🙌

So glad you had a great trip! We’re about to cross the Atlantic in the other direction for our big Disney vacation. We’re headed to Disneyland Paris and we can’t wait. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to let us know how your trip went - we really appreciate it! 😃

Your content is seriously the most helpful by far! I've looked up so many tips on Reddit about how to beat the heat at the park, but I never saw anyone mention how the Emporium has connected the entire length of Main Street or how Tortuga Tavern opens early and offers seating in AC while it's practically empty. I think these tips will save us during our August trip, especially since a family member with skin cancer will be joining us and needs to be very cautious about staying out in the sun too long. Thank you so much!

So glad to hear that you’ve found our videos helpful. My mother had melanoma, so sun protection has always been important to our family and maybe something we think about more than the average WDW guests. I hope you all have a fantastic and safe visit to the parks! 😃

Hi Rob, me and my boyfriend came back to LA from a week trip at WDW and we couldn’t thank you more. We have watched your videos every single night before we go to bed and planned things. You had saved us a lot of time and energy with the genie plus slot games as well as all the little fun tips/ hacks we wouldn’t have known without you. We were hoping to run into you at the park to say thank you and treat you with a nice cold drink but you went a day ahead of us 😢 Next time for sure!! Anyways please be safe and keep up the good work👏🏻

Hi Rob, my name is Flavio, I'm from Brazil and I have just came back from Disney World and I have to thank you bro. Before going, I watched all your videos and prepared myself with your tips like a pro for all kinds of situations in all 4 Disney Parks. The outcome was a perfect family vacation with a complete experience in all 4 parks including the most difficult attractions during the most crowded days! Sometimes more than twice combining different strategies. You rock! I'm sharing your channel and videos with all the Brazilian community!

What an amazing coincidence! My family and I were also at Disney's Magic Kingdom on this exact 4th of July! We are a family of four - two adults and two kiddos aged 12 and 8. To say we had a blast would be an understatement! Between the rides, the food, and the magical ambiance, every moment felt like stepping straight into a fairytale. And this video, let me tell you, was a game-changer for us! We've been following your channel and your tips and strategies have been absolutely invaluable! Your guidance truly optimized our experience and made our day even more magical. Last, but definitely not least, the fireworks. Oh, the fireworks! There's something incredibly special about 4th of July fireworks at Magic Kingdom. They weren't just spectacular, they were downright enchanting. The light show was breathtaking, and watching the sky light up above Cinderella's Castle was a memory we will cherish forever. Thank you for your great content! You're helping families like ours make the most out of these precious moments. Can't wait to see where our next Disney adventure takes us, guided by your handy tips and tricks. Keep the magic coming! 🎆🏰🎠🎡🎢🎇

Just returned from our 2 week WDW vacation. I cannot thank you enough for your content. The Genie+ strategy, tips, tricks, slots, and gremlin lookouts made us get so much more out of our 6 park days than we would have on our own. We rode and saw everything -often more than once- without waiting longer than 30 mins for in any line during the July 4th holiday week. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This past weekend my family and I visited Magic Kingdom. This video helped me a lot to make my family day one full of adventures and to be able to enjoy all the most visited attractions without long waits using the Genie plus for almost all the attractions. We only did about 2 lines without the Genie plus including Seven Dwarfs Mine (only 45 minute wait). The "refresh" technique on the screen really works although sometimes as you mention you have to try it many times. Excellent video. Thank you!!!

I have never been so stressed out planning a Disney vacation. Would you consider doing a preview of what the Disney Not so Scary parties are going to do to the parks? I did not book the party, but am going to be in the Magic Kingdom on one of the non party days. Is it going to be ridiculously crowded? This would be the last week of September. Appreciate any insight! and THANK YOU for your videos. They're amazing!

I can't stress enough to people to watch all of Ear Scouts vids to master this valuable tool that allows your family (even as large as 5) to have the most magical day! We never waited in line more than 30 minutes and this was for a summer trip the week before July 4th! We actually have the vlogs of our first 5 days of our 10-day trip up on our channel...i try to give Rob and Ear Scouts its proper recognition when in the parks using Genie Plus. I have implemented many of your tips during my recent trips including our visit to Disney last week. i was hoping to run into you but unfortunately did not. We managed the heat well and went at a bit slower pace than usual. I love your idea of mixing indoor with outdoor rides. My family laughed at me everytime I won at the slot game, however I was a bit disappointed when the afternoon arrived and there were no longer any available slots for some of the rides, I wonder if this was down to the the Genie+ service. We just did a week in Disney. Your videos were so helpful! I even had a cast member look at everything we did (my daughter lost her magic band) and she was super impressed! My one mistake was when I played the slots when I clicked on my modified time by the time I tapped it, my time was completely different and once clicked confirm without realizing it was a different time than I thought. It threw us off an hour at MK. So always double check before you hit confirm!

@EarScouts
@EarScouts 11 ай бұрын
Hi Stephanie! I use the ones like these: amzn.to/44ItWp9 I just pick the ones that are that style that have the best price for the quantity I’m looking for. Note that when you buy things with our links, we make a small commission. The most important part is the backpack strap itself. Mine have a lot of cushion, so the pin backs are somewhat absorbed in the cushioning. You still feel them a little bit, but I have stopped noticing it. Thanks for watching! 😃

@EarScouts
@EarScouts 11 ай бұрын
Hello! Honestly, anywhere along that section of Frontierland where there are porches. Just look for a good spot and keep an eye on the tape that is on the ground because that is the line where the “front row” of watchers will be. There are usually some good spots that are both shady and on the front line. Erick also really likes Liberty Square near Hall of Presidents where you can get shade under the Liberty Tree (the big tree with lanterns hanging on it). Either of those spots is a great pick. Thanks for watching! 😃

More good tips Rob, especially the one about sunscreen. I would have never thought of that. BTW, since our first trip to Disney in 1977 we always hit the Carousell of Progress. It's one of those attractions you hope they never change. Just one question. Do you think that Disney will change Tron from a virtual queue anytime in the future?
@EarScouts
@EarScouts 11 ай бұрын
Hi Jim! I think the virtual queue is going to go away for Guardians in EPCOT any day now, but TRON will stay a virtual queue for a while. At least through the holidays would be my guess, and probably longer based on how long they kept Rise of the Resistance and Guardians on the VQ. Thanks for watching! 😃

I think being a Floridian really gives us an upper hand on handling this heat. I think most people who visit don’t fully grasp how hot and humid it is until they get here. The only downfall about alternating outside attractions with inside is the sweat actually makes you cold sometimes when you go indoors. But I’ll take that (and even rain) over the hot sun and humidity, any day! Thanks for another awesome video! ❤️💛🖤

Not everyone can buy genie plus (specially folks like me who doesn’t earn money In dollars haha) and it would be fun to know the queues with different interactions

Rob, may I ask you about 75 min wait time of Tron? Is it mostly like this for VQ? If the call time for VQ is heat noon time, it seems brutal to wait for that long. Is the waiting outdoor/indoor/ shade? I’m wondering if we should just book ILL directly, assuming that will be an easy short wait. We are from Canada. My kids hardly even experienced 30 degree temperature 😂
@EarScouts
@EarScouts 11 ай бұрын
I had never waited that long before, but it seems that each time I ride, the wait time gets longer. They must be experimenting with calling more boarding groups at once, though I have no idea why that would benefit anyone. I hope they fix it because it used to be more like a 10-20 minute wait and that was a much better experience - especially since it is such a short ride. Thanks for watching! 😃

Hello. Thank you for this video!! I booked a sweet 16 trip for my 4th dauther who is an autistic on the second week of July because her birthday is in July. But I'm wondering if we should change it to October because it's too hot in July. I thought it would be less people around the third week of October, but it seems like it'll be packed there too. I'm really not sure if we should go in July because of the heat and rain. If you can give me your thoughts... it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi! Love your content! I have a question. How does it work for getting on rides when it starts getting close to closing time at parks at Disney world? Or in other words if Epcot closes at 9 for example, when is the last time I’ll be able to get on a ride? With wait times, that confuses me
@Meeshwell
@Meeshwell 11 ай бұрын
As long as you are in line one minute before close, then you can stay in line and ride! So in your example, you could get in line at 8:59 and even if the wait is an hour or longer, you still can stay in line and ride it!

There must be multiple things contributing to the emptiness at the moment because I am seeing a LOT of ads to come to Disney this summer (from the UK) and not even just online where my interests would lead to targeted ads - I’m seeing them and hearing them on TV and radio. I suspect they’ve had way fewer international bookings than they were expecting for this summer as well.

My wife and I love your channel Rob! Question re: the 120-min Rule. If we book a LL at 7:00am, can we book the next one at 9:00am or 2 hours after official park opening or as soon as we scan in on the first ride? Can you tell we’re still confused? Lol

It would be 2 hours after park opening OR when you scan into the ride you booked… whichever comes first. So if at 7am you booked a LL for 12:00, and park opens at 9am, then at 11am you can book another. But, if at 7am you booked a LL for 10am, then as soon as you scan in after 10am then you can book another. Hope that helps!

Rob, I just returned from my family Disney trip. Thanks for all your videos, they are by far the most informative when it comes to using the Genie Plus app. After watching so many, I still found the new app required a few hour learning curve (and this coming from a person who found/abused a hack in the old Fast Pass app). Fortunately AK was our first day so it allowed for a less stressful learning curve. Anyway, I thought I would try to return a tip...really theory/hack because I was not able to prove it out because the idea hit me after the storm passed on our last theme park day. The theory is this: use the Florida afternoon storm downtime to your advantage. Most people know that if you have a lightning lane scheduled and the ride is down at the start of your window Disney changes the pass into an experience pass. This gives you the advantage to save that lighting lane for later, when the ride comes back up, or use it elsewhere (with some exceptions)...and schedule another, future, lightning lane. Well during rain the outside rides go down...this is where the theory comes in (and maybe a future video). Why not intentionally modify a lightning lane to one of these rides, at a very near future time, with the hope that the ride is down when your window hits and the selection is moved to an experience pass to be used elsewhere at your leisure? For instance, Dumbo/BarnStormer never have a line, and lightning lanes are available at all increments. If rain hits the ride is grounded. Schedule a future lightning lane for either of those and keep your fingers crossed the ride is down when your window hits...rinse and repeat until the storm passes and then use the experience passes you stacked that you can use on almost every other ride in the park.
@EarScouts
@EarScouts 11 ай бұрын
That’s a clever idea. I’ll have to try it out next time I’m using Genie on a day with some afternoon storms. Thanks for watching! 😃
@conork8177
@conork8177 11 ай бұрын
@@EarScouts it also helps when you want to ride something more than once while using the lightning lane. Remember if you have a lightning lane set up for a ride, say Jungle Cruise, make sure you use that lightning lane during its window and before you use a Disney Experience Pass on the ride (Jungle Cruise). If you use the Disney experience pass before the scheduled lightning lane it will remove your lightning lane because it counts as the one time usage toward that ride. Strange, I know, but order matters.

Great video as always, Rob. Couldn’t agree more about the summer temperatures, I went in mid June thinking it wouldn’t be too hot. The sun was like a blowtorch on my head, the humidity steamed up the outside of windows. 😂 I can’t help thinking adjustment to ticket prices is nothing to do with crowds and everything to do with charging the most for the popular park 😁 I don’t trust good Bob any more than bad Bob when it comes to making money.

Hi Ryano! This is the part that confuses a lot of people. The rule is that you can book your next Lightning Lane EITHER after you use the most recent Lightning Lane that you’ve booked - OR two hours after you booked it. So as long as you keep using each Lightning Lane you book, you can keep booking them. This is why it’s helpful to “play the slots” and get a better (quicker) return time for your next ride.
