Here in the UK you can buy any thickness of bread from thin sliced to extra thick (we call that a doorstep slice) we always butter our bread/toast too, much improved flavour. Loved your concoctions of food here.

All the chocolate reminds me of s'mores. In the US, it's toasted marshmallows put on graham crackers with chocolate (no need to melt the chocolate first, the hot gooey marshmallow takes care of that). But you could make it with basically any tasty bread, chocolate, and melted marshmallows. But since you have the little oven with a flame on it, you can put the marshmallow on a stick then toast it directly on that flame. Another thing you can do with marshmallows is to buy marshmallow fluff and peanut butter and make a sandwich with those (using whatever bread you like). I hear neither plain marshmallows or peanut butter are super popular outside the US, but they're commonly in the "American foods" sections of many grocery stores elsewhere in the world (along with a disgusting amount of pop tarts). I'd be curious to see what an "American section" looks like if you have one in a food store near you.
@DigDigJAPAN

I've heard of s'mores!! It's a very sweet and delicious food, and I want to try it too😍 I think it's possible to make it in Japan, so I'll try it next time (but I'm sure it won't compare to the real thing, so I'll dream of eating it in the real thing someday!!) The peanut butter is so good!! It definitely goes well with marshmallows. It's true that peanut butter is not mainstream in Japan, so there aren't many varieties. However, there may be quite a few people who like it!! I don't have many opportunities to eat it myself, but I love peanut butter. I'll look for the "American foods" section next time😆

Your Pikachu bread burned because of the sugar in the melon bread that makes it sweet and crispy. It got too hot and caramelized.

The thing I like the most about Japanese snacks is the size. Not too many calories! Finland used to have small packages too when I was a child, but nowadays...😅 The snacks come in huge bags, like 300g of chips or such. Thank you, once again, for entertaining us. 😊

I use a hot spring egg maker I bought at Daiso, but you can also make it in hot water!! There are various ways, but please refer to this one☺️ Turn off the heat of the boiling pot and put the eggs with shells taken out of the refrigerator into the hot water. Cover and wait about 12 minutes. (It depends on the pot and room temperature.) After 12 minutes, take out the eggs, crack them, and the hot spring eggs are done!!

Are Oreos called Oleos in Japan? The first time the caption said Oleo I thought maybe it was a typo, autocorrect or the narrator dictated it through voice to text. But it didn’t just happen the one time. After the third time I started to wonder, so I posted this question. If anyone knows the answer, plz feel free to respond to this comment, I’m not specifically asking DDJ for the answer. Thanks! ✌🏻😊
