I do not know what fight Judge Max Delluca was watching and judging, but I am darned sure it wasn't this fight...unless that judge is flat out of his mind and lost his marbles, I cannot see how he watched that entire fight and what he saw was an even fight..."the kid, White Magic," was smoked out of that ring and the compubox numbers bears that out. He was out-thrown and out-landed in all categories...even if you payed attention not on the tangibles but rather on the aesthetics, "White Magic" was the bloodied fighter all through that contest. He was backed up several times by the smaller sized fighter and was thoroughly schooled...I am certain that the better fighter won the fight tonight!...it would have been a shame and a travesty if anything different had happened as far as the decision goes. I am personally disappointed that the win was not unanimous. It is things like this that continue to give boxing a black eye.

The flaws in his style were always there. He just finally ran into someone that could fight back and exploit them. Even back in the Pulluaim fight you could tell his defense was suspect. He's also used to having things his own way and Martin never let that happen. Hopefully this fight humbled him and showed him that he still has a lot to learn. Undefeated records are overrated; this fight hopefully taught him more than beating up any number of tin cans could.

Vito Mielnicki was told clearly by his corner that he is not following instructions. One thing you can't do as a fighter is to fall in love with your power because you're not going to knock everyone out, so you have to make adjustments. I remember Martin from the amateurs and took notice to him that he had good boxing ability and that was on display tonight. Records can be deceiving. Just because Martin didn't have any knockouts, doesn't mean he can't cause problems. If anything, that is a warning sign that he probably is a decent fighter. This is why you investigate a fighter's Boxrec thouroughly before passing any judgement. Martin lost a close unanimous decision recently and had he not been knocked down, he would have won that fight. That raised flags in my mind prior to this bout taking place. Vito Mielnicki is young and I'm sure he will bounce back from this. You must learn how to defend a against a good jabber because they can cause nightmares inside that Squared Circle. As for Martin, I wish him the best as he advances hiscareer forward, but he will have to step his game up now because he's on the radar. Good for him!
