Hi, I bought a large sized LS2 FF901 Advant X Carbon helmet. While my head size is 58, the helmet (L: 59-60) squeezes my cheeks to the extent that I am biting the insides of my cheeks. Would the helmet loosen a bit after a period of usage, and is there a method to loosen it around the cheek area? The helmet was an online purchase, and it will be difficult to exchange it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The weight of the Advant X is 1600 g +/- 50 g (Right around 3.5 pounds). Considering the average motorcycle helmet ranges from 1400-1800 grams (3.1-4 pounds), we are right in the middle of that range.
